It fit perfectly, was easy to to wire, and worked on the first kick
Installed on my 72 CT90. Had issues with running for a while and then it would die, wouldn’t idle. Replaced the carb with no difference. Finally replaced the coil and immediately started running with no issues.

Unit comes riveted not bolted
The coil in add shows it being bolted but will come riveted, making it an inconvenienceinstalling the condenser. Other than that its been working great for 2 weeks on my Ct90

Works perfectly on Honda ct90
Just grind one of the rivets and install a screw and nut to mount condenser. Wire to spark plug can be trimmed down by unscrewing the cap cutting the wire to proper length.

Warning this is a 12 volt coil - NOT 6 volt coil for Honda CT trail 90
The mounting bolts fit my 1971 Honda CT 90 K3. Seemed good to go.Honda "Trail 90's" use a 6 volt electrical system.Stock Ignition Coil for the Trail 90 is 6 volts: 1.8 ohms and about 3 amps with point closed. The coil sent (and the replacement) measure 3.6 and 3.7 ohms for the primary coil. These are the two bullet clip wires. They both draw about 1.5 amps when connected to 6.4 volts. So, at 6 volts, a tiny little spark at the spark plug. This is wrong.Caution: Do not try this in your motor cycle. But I bench tested both coils with 12 volts. Then they have a nice spark and draw the correct 3.2 amps with points closed. Not sure if the seller has the information wrong in the add, or Amazon is picking from the wrong parts bin. Either way, sending both back. Also the coils sent are pop riveted to the mounting frame and DO NOT MATCH the advertised pictures with bolts.Hope this helps others, as I wasted many hours figuring out all the details....

Meh..
Resistance was fine, but the plug cap was poorly made. Also the thing is riveted on both sides, so you'd need to drill that out to install the condenser. Took an xray of the plug cap. Oof... also the threaded part that goes into the wire is cheap grade 5 looking junk. Def will rust out fast
