Very strong magnet, hex head is cut not stamp forged making it a weak point for rounding off. For the price it should have a forged hex head and refined threads (they are sharp).

Fits perfectly on my 2011 Daytona 675. I waited to do my review after an oil change. I was surprised to find small nugs and shards of ferrous metal stuck to the plug but glad this did its job to extract them. Sorry, I didn't take a pic.*update 4/22* I’ve done a couple oil changes since my last review, but this time I remembered to take pics. This plug is still going strong with less material stuck to it than the first time. It’s a very satisfying feeling wiping that ferrous gunk off exposing a good-as-new plug. Idk what the crush washer is made of but it’s still looking great. Flipped it around anyway and no leaks. Just input what you’re riding and it’ll tell you exactly which plug will fit. It’s really that easy

Haven’t changed my bike oil since installing but it feels like a quality machined bolt with some heft to it and a very strong magnet.

Fits the new 2022 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 rs. Much nicer than the stock drain plug and with a little added protection.

A MUST upgrade!!!

It's a magnetic oil plug. I used Gold Plug's website, entered in the GM part number, and it matched to this plug. Ordered it, got it the same day and installed it in my first generation Chevy Volt (GM's range extended electric vehicle). This plug is VERY well made. The magnet on it is as strong as any of the magnets I've found inside hard disk drives, so I expect it to work well. I hope to update this review after my next oil change (which will be in about 2 years, so don't hold your breaths folks!)

It fit my 2008 Triumph Tiger 1050 perfectly. I finally did my first oil change after installation of the plug. It worked as advertised and captured a fair amount of metel sludge. I will be looking into getting another for my truck.
