Great addition
I purchased this as a PDF from The Thinking Tree website. This book is open-ended writing prompts, dot-to-dot, coloring pages, creating comic strips, and write your own stories with word lists. After giving this book to my daughter, she immediately started working in it and wrote her first story in months. This book is a great addition for children who love Minecraft. This book is also great to add to The Thinking Tree philosophy of Fun-Schooling and their Minecraft books!

Amazing Journal! Highly Recommend!!
Awesome workbook! This book has helped by dysgraphic 12 year old write longer and interesting stories. He went from 2-3 sentences tops to 3-5 paragraphs and begs to do more every day! He is stepping outside his comfort zone and growing by leaps and bounds every day because it is a topic that interests him. We love all of the fun schooling journals! They are a blessing to our homeschooling family!

More than just writing
We got this book to encourage our sons who hate writing to write. It has so many other activities intertwined in that it doesn’t seem so overbearing to them and they are excited to kick off our new school year and get busy on this book. They can’t say no to Minecraft. It’s great to see them share some excitement rather than dread school work.

8yr old excited to write all the Minecraft stories!
This is the first of the thinking tree books we got, and I'm really pleasantly surprised. My 8 year old loves Minecraft and this really helps harness his vivid imagination and guide it to progress with his writing skills. There are some great creative writing prompts, comics to be drawn along with it, vocabulary to use and define if unsure of the meaning. My son is very impressed with the Minecraft Illustrations to colour in. The dot to dots are times tables based and when completed give another idea for a story prompt. My son is very excited to work through this book. We like the fact that it gives a guide but enough scope for the child's own creative expression.
