Although the smell in this spray deterrent wasn’t awful to the humans, it didn’t keep our cats from scratching items. We’re trying other scents to see if they’ll work better as a scratching deterrent

Works for one cat but the other one doesn’t even acknowledge it

Very nice mild scent but it did not work for my cat. I am now spraying him with a squirt bottle of water and that is working when I catch him scratching the couch.

Sent is ok but didn’t phase my cat, even after several uses she still tears up my very expensive Persian rug.Time to get rid of the rug.

I have sprayed this on the carpet that i do not want the cat on. I have seen the cat run away from the rug and then also he has scratched the rug. I keep reapplying and I am hoping for more consistent results.

My cat had a long time habit of scratching a large wicker trunk that I love, although I had placed a scratching post right next to it. I used this product 1 to 2 times a day for a week, then once a day for another week and then only when he scratched it. He hasn't scratched my trunk in about a month. I now use it about once a week just to reinforce the results. I have tried sooooo many products without results until now! I will definitely buy more when I run out just to have on hand!!

Didn’t work for our little tweening cat. We were hoping this product would help save our pleather chair. It didn’t work in small amounts in targeted areas, so I ended up using almost the entire bottle’s worth Over the full surface of the chair. This really did leave a very strong smell in room which I guess was expected. Our cat couldn’t care less about the smell, which is a bummer. I’m guess Ming that this is probably a product that may not work for every cat, so although it didn’t work for us, maybe it could work for you.

Sprayed this on my new sofa.. plenty of it, it stank like arse and 10mins later the cat still scratched. Doesn’t seem to work for our cat!

I used almost half a bottle on my sofa. Minutes later, the cat went straight there scratching. For me , this was a waste of money.
