Not as big as youd expect.
The scale itself works ok and delivers on what it says its for. The description of the size is where it gets to be a littler confusing. they measure it in cm first and then in parenthesis inches. i understand that here in the us we don't conform with the rest of the world but upon first glance the size makes it seem larger than it is, i had missed that through no fault of seller just my lack of observation. The bottom line is if you thought the scale was gonna be in the 2 feet range large enough to hold a small dog or large cat it isn't and we struggled to keep a 5lb kitten on it to get their weight with, the top tray also disconnects from the base often making it a little difficult to get their proper weight with as well.
