Excellent quality and an easy fit for my Solar PV set up.Especially useful if you have other "smart" Victron products that can communicate and share info with this and other similar products.Chunky quality inspires confidence in what will hopefully be a long life product.

Easy to fit works well with two lithium batteries value for money

Being so expensive I wondered if I’d really get good value out of this gadget. But I don’t regret it at all. Not only is it very versatile in being compatible with many different types of systems, voltages and batteries, extending its usefulness whichever direction k decide to go with my off grid system in future, but it’s so much more useful for monitoring battery bank status than voltage measurements. It’s constant output of information let’s you determine exactly what is going into and out of your battery, and gives you a much more useful and instantaneous idea of how long your battery bank will last under different usage scenarios.I couldn’t reccommend another Victron product more, and it integrates even better if you are using Victron products for your full installation. I only wish I knew this could perform the same features as the smart battery sense before I bought both of them. I could have just bought the temperature sensor and hooked it up to this shunt instead via the aux port.

I have been wanting a shunt for a few years now for our narrowboat but have been reluctant to spend big money on a quality one and even more reluctant to buy a cheap unreliable .When I saw this it provided a great compromise between cist and quality.I like the fact that there is no wall display to clutter my already busy control panel.I also like the fact that it better guides my victron battery charger to be more efficient.I particularly like the fact that I can clearly see how often my battery comes back to a full charge state, essential for lead acid batteries.For those concerned about reports of poor connectivity via Bluetooth DON'T.Yes it can be a little glitchy if rushed.Our batteries are kept in the engine room and I manage to get a signal from about 4meters away. The only time I struggle is when I don't allow the app to correctly register all the devices first. Open the app and allow it to correctly identify ALL available victron devices before making your selection 1st.The only thing I was a little unhappy with is the data logging only happens whilst connected via Bluetooth.It would be nice to see daily usage rather than an accumulative total

Easy to fit with included instructions. Accompanying App and Bluetooth connection means you can keep track of battery condition.

Excellent product that is well built and does everything I need. It didn't always correctly report state of charge, but the SmartShunt is highly configurable and a change of settings fixed this issue. I must add that Nomadic Leisure were the seller and provided very fast and detailed support, so I recommend choosing them given various sellers supply thuis product on Amazon. Will definitely buy again for our next campervan.
