We got this for my dad's wheelchair, who after a recent serious illness was having difficulty putting on the breaks of the wheelchair. They were recommended by his physical therapist. These extensions were easy to install and allowed him to quickly put the break on despite his weakness. Safety first!

I typically don’t write reviews but this set of break handles has been so helpful. The leverage created makes breaking so easy my dad can put his own breaks on. The 9” handle is great BUT it’s too long to lock the breaks when my dad is parked in front of his desk or the dinner table. My first thought was bigger is better but I purchased the 6” set to see if it’s the best of all worlds. I anticipate it will be. Keep this in mind when purchasing.

I love these extensions! My hands were always sore at the end of the day with brakes on my wheel chair. With these extensions they don't get sore. Plus I'm not feeling around on the side of the chair looking for the brakes. I wish I would have bought some long ago.

Really disconcerting when one receives a product with multiple stickers on it, saying there is a carcinogenic danger with this product and one has no idea what it refers to, nor can contact the seller to find out. Is it real? and if not, why is there 2 of these warnings?? Scared to use it now.
