Watch for kickback
It's an excellent saw with plenty of power to cause injuries to one's self. The tool gives good feedback about binding and pinching, but it will hurt you if you do not pay attention.

Night and Day
I’m not a pro just a weekend warrior DIY. For years I’ve been struggling making a straight cut from ripping plywoods and 2x4. Even with with the help of cheap circular saw tracks I’m still struggling. But this saw as soon as it arrived I cut a small piece of plywoods and 2x4 and I’m surprised how easy it is . Every cut is almost perfect and I think one reason is I’m right handed and the blade is on the leftside so I can see where the blade is cutting. This is gonna be my go to saw. Regarding weight it is heavy but since I’m just a DIY warrior and It’s ok. I’m a small guy with women hands, maybe if your popeye weight won’t matter. Overall good saw and built very well.

Like other Bosch products I have
Have had the saw a short time but have already put a lot of use on it, and just sorry I didn't get one sooner. Like other Bosch products I have, it has been a pleasure to use. I have worked professionally as a carpenter and appreciate tools that work well. The few dollars extra that you might spend on the product will be worth it. I do want to report a problem that I had and suggest readers pay attention. When I ordered the saw I also purchased the WD7LUB lubricant with it since the lube should be changed after 10 hours initial use. Glad I had it. The manual said the saw was ready to go, but when I checked the lubricant level as part of my familiarization with the saw I was surprised that it was dry as a bone. I lubed it up, used it and have been happy with it. I wasn't happy that Bosch said "thanks" for the email and just blew it off. The saw is a recommendation, though.

Buy it.
I have a skilsaw that’s 40 years old and it jerks a bit or torques when you first fire it up. Some reviews have said same thing with the Bosch. I disagree with that statement! It’s a great saw and light weight.Greg

Been using mainly Bosch for circulars for some years now as a carpenter, got pretty used to my 1677 and was originally searching for that but couldn't find one fast enough, so I took a gamble on new CSW41 and I have to say I'm glad I did, it's a nice precision tool.I had to actually compensate some for it's lightness, first few cuts felt slightly squirly w/out the weight, it is a noticeable difference compared to my 1677.I do wish they kept the removable cord like the 1677, but that's a small gripe. The table has a nice lip that sits nice against a straight edge or guide for precision cuts.I use a circular pretty much daily, Bosch have been my fist pick for years now, this one does not dissapoint.

Does the job
I missed the point that the saw has very little room in the front to fix a guide rail. I could not use the one I had. Accuracy: Lost 1/2 millimeter over 3 feet. Could also be caused by the blade. Would describe the weight as medium. Can't say anything about durability, it is too new. Only did one smaller job with it.

Great Saw
I just received this yesterday and made a few test cuts today. This is an excellent saw. It has a good feel in the hand. The motor is powerful, and it just cuts like butter.A reviewer said this was cheaply manufactured. I don't really understand that individual's opinion. I can't seem to find one thing about this saw that feels cheap. If anything, it feels heavy duty and extremely well built.I can't claim that I've used a lot of worm drives being from the East, but it does seem like an identical twin to the Skil branded saws. After using this for handful of cuts, I now understand what all the rage is about when it comes to worm drive skilsaws.I'm impressed with this saw as I am with most of my Bosch tools.
