Convenient
I bought this to replace my water delivery service which had recently increased prices. I also installed an 11 stage filtration system under my kitchen sink. I have well-water so this was necessary. Because I have a more efficient filtration system leading to this product, I don’t need to use the included filters. So now I have the convenience of free delicious filtered water, hot, cold and room temperature, on demand. The purchase of the filtration system and this unit have paid for themselves in a short time.

Avalon A13CT Water Cooler: A Disappointing Experience
I purchased the Avalon A13CT water cooler with high hopes. It seemed like a reliable and convenient solution for our office, promising cool, refreshing water at the touch of a button. For a short time, it delivered. However, within weeks of the warranty period expiring, the unit abruptly stopped working. This wasn't a gradual decline; it simply ceased functioning. The cold water stopped working, and the cooler became nothing more than an expensive paperweight.Disappointed, I contacted Avalon customer support, hoping for a reasonable resolution. I explained the situation, emphasizing the short time the cooler had been in use and the fact that the failure occurred so soon after the warranty's expiration. I wasn't expecting a free replacement, but I did hope for some form of support – perhaps a repair option, or even just some guidance on troubleshooting. Instead, I was met with a dismissive response. The representative offered no assistance beyond suggesting I purchase a brand new unit. This felt incredibly unhelpful, especially considering the relatively short lifespan of the original cooler. The lack of support from Avalon is profoundly disappointing. It demonstrates a disregard for customer satisfaction and a willingness to abandon customers as soon as the warranty period expires, regardless of the circumstances. The fact that the unit failed so soon after the warranty speaks to either poor product quality or a business model that prioritizes short-term profits over long-term customer relationships. Either way, it's unacceptable. Buyer Beware, one of the main reasons Avalon gave for not supporting it was because it was sold by a 3rd party, even though I bought it from the main Amazon listing.I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Avalon or their products to anyone. My experience with the A13CT water cooler and the company's subsequent lack of support has been incredibly frustrating. I share this experience to ensure that other potential customers are aware of the risks involved in purchasing Avalon products. A product that fails so quickly and a company that offers no support deserve to be held accountable. Consumers deserve better than this.

Worked great, until it didn't
Our water cooler worked perfectly well for the first year. Just after that it began to leak from the dispenser spout - a little bit at first, to roughly five ounces in water leakage (daily). A month shy of its third year, the unit froze solid when the chiller switch was on (won't dispense water of any temperature as everything is frozen in the reservoir and lines). It will now only dispense room temperature water.I wouldn't suggest this unit to people, nor will we be repurchasing it. We'll look for something with a better warranty.

Perfect and works great
My house was built with a filter system and by adding this one it makes the water even taste better. Room temp is cooler like cold temp whereby cold temp is as cold as ice. Saves me ice during the summer. Will recommend it to everybody

Bit noisy, but pretty good!
It would definitely be a 5 star if it wasn't for how loud it is when it's cooling the water. Other than that, super easy to install, water taste great and the hot water is REALLY hot! It's a bit bigger than we'd like, but it works great for bottles and bigger cups.

Water test
First of all, the dispenser was easy to install.Secondly, its states that it removes 99.6% lead, 99.7% particulates, 99.99% cysts, and more than 97.4% of chlorine, bad smell and visible objects. However, after testing the tap water with TDS water tester, my water is at 387 PPM. Tested the filtered water, it tested 271 PPM. I was hoping it would be in the ballpark of < 10PPM. Boy, was I disappointed!

NOT Commercial quality; didn't last a year and company won't honor warranty.
Very disappointed in this machine. At less than a year old, it started to lock up and not dispense. When you press the button, it trickles out a little bit of water, then runs out. It started doing this off and on at about 9 months old. At 11 months, I contacted the company who assured me that it's under warranty and it would be taken care of, and now that a case is logged, they'll handle it. They walked me through a couple troubleshooting steps which got it working in the moment, but within a day, the same behavior started to repeat itself. Now they're refusing to honor the warranty, claiming that by hooking it to a Reverse Osmosis water source, I've somehow "modified the machine" and voided the manufacturer warranty, so I'll have to pay for them to guess at problems/parts at this point. This is illogical, since Reverse Osmosis is the purest source of water possible - and running RO water into a pressure tank that feeds the machine is mechanically no different than my home well pump that fills a diaphragm tank to supply equal water pressure to the whole house. The fact that the company won't stand behind their product and is using something so petty to get out of supporting their product says a lot about them as a company. I would definitely never buy from them again! They call this a commercial-grade unit, yet it didn't make it a year in a home setting. Save your money and go elsewhere to a company with some integrity, who makes equipment that actually lasts.
