Very easy

This was installed on a new white vinyl fence and the screws rusted within one week. It’s very disappointing considering that this is made for outdoor use. I would not recommend it for a 6 foot fence at all but it would be OK for a 3 foot fence. Be sure you buy your own stainless steel screws

A bit small. Not really for a heavy barn door. Well made.

I used it for a wooden gate and the pin holding the latch came off at the slightest resistance. Had to put a screw in its place to make it functional. Would not reorder.

Bought this because of the modern, clean design. A bit concerned about how long it's going to last, as the latch arm is pretty thin and attached to the base plate somewhat loosely. Bad news is the screws are already showing rust after about a week of exposure to the elements. The mfg. should upgrade the screws to something weatherproof, as this latch is likely used exclusively on exterior gates... I guess it's nothing a bit of Rust-Oleum can't fix.

PROS - Looks greatCons - Short span and limited swing, I had to round the top of the catch to make it work. Also the pin for the swing seems small. Hope it holds up

Broke up on the first day of use with little wind in the area
