MECO(TM) MJX F645 F45 Brushless Main Motor Kit Set Upgrade Your Helicopter

The motor itself works great. It can stay in the air at 25% throttle and can get about 12-14 minutes of flight.Unfortunately, the package didn't include the silver framing or the additional black framing shown attached to the motor. Further, while the motor is great on consumption, it's max throttle seems to be lower as load testing from the stock motor to this motor has the stock motor lifting a heavier load with sustained flight. Additionally, there were no instructions.Take apart your helicopter and place the PC board under the flight control board (note the wider holes which slide down the flight control board's mounting). CAREFULLY bend the three wires which attach to the brushless motor until the motor fits into the housing. Use a zip tie or two to hold the brushless motor PC board down to the base of the helicopter so it doesn't bounce up and possibly contact the flight control board. Solder both of the black wires to the black wire contact point on the flight control board and the red to the red. You will hear a series of beeps when power is correctly connected to the brushless motor PC board.Any questions please email me.

Obviously the brushless upgrade makes the heli perform better. More power, more speed, less noise, less heat are all the of benefits one can expect. Prior to ordering this kit, I expected to have to do some soldering. This was not the case with the one I got from Yanyan shop. The ESC was much higher quality than the pictures show. And all of the connecting plugs were all soldered on to the pre-programmed ESC already. All I had to do was swap the parts and plug in! It could not have been easier and the performance increase is obvious. Highly recommended if you're into this particular heli.

Not including ANY documentation - however bad it might be - is a BIG mistake, MECO stupids!Other than not having a clue that THE SECOND BLACK WIRE SHOULD BE ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY NEGATIVE potential. (A very important thing to indicate - just a battery negative symbol attached to the solder tipped lead would be nice!!!) NICE THOUGH that the board connector plug was already attached.WORKS HEAVENLY. RUNS COOL. RUNS BEAUTIFULLY QUIET!!!!As it's running cool - it seems that it must be running more efficiently.Quiet running also would seem to indicate WAY less running friction, right?(I noticed you can get this kit, the heli AND the camera for less than $135. I'd GO FOR IT!)

I got the kit with the side frames and motor mount like the one shown in the picture. A lot more power then the stock motor. When I went to put the circuit board on the posts the red wire to the motor broke off so I checked the other wires and the blue wire broke off too. I looked at the wires and it looks like who ever striped the insulation off they also cut about 1/2 of the wire too I was able to re-solder the wires with no problems at all. It only took me about 30 min. to do the swap and I'm really happy with the kit.

It works, Little outdated not. But will definitely amp up your F45. Be ready for total disassemble and reassemble of chopper. I mean literally ever part. But once you get it up. Don't let it out of your sight.
