Easy to use and works great!!
We have 22 zones in our irrigation system and I had no idea where 12 of the valves were located. This product is awesome and I was able to find all 12 of the lost valves very quickly. The most time consuming part was walking back and forth to the control panel. In my experience, the sound coming from the valve box was very noticeable even if the valve boxes were full of dirt and/or covered with dirt and grass. When I located about where the sound was coming from, I used a screw driver to gently poke into the grass to find the top of the valve box. I highly recommend this product! Worth every penny!

Not compatible with Rain bird valves
High price and near to zero performance, no significant noise from valves.

It finds and kills solenoid valves
You really need to be within 5 feet of the solenoid box if it is covered with a couple of inches of dirt or you wont hear it even with a piece of PVC tubing from your ear to the ground. It killed two of my solenoids as it makes them chatter constantly.With the PVC pipe to the ground, listen for a hum like you can hear sometimes from a high voltage overhead wire

Product worked exactly as described, just wished the solenoids clicking noise was louder. Was about to find four out of six solenoids. Live in a noisy neighborhood, will find the remaining two later….

Product did not work with my system, however seller was very helpful and sent an upgraded product to try.

Well Worth its cost
Very easy to use. Quick install. Does exactly what it says it does. I was able to quickly identify my sprinkler valves that were buried under 4-5 inches of sod and dirt. I should have bought this sooner.

was not impressed with this product. It is supposed to make the valve chatter in a sprinkler system to help you locate the valve. My valves are buried about 12 to 14 inches underground. The instructions say things have to be very quiet outside in order to hear the chatter. Don't fool yourself. I went to The Sprinkler Whse here in Houston where the rent a professional tool designed for this. Do not buy just rent. This is the only way to go. This tool has a wand that picks up the electrical wire from your controller to the valve and you can trace it rather easily. Trust me you have to use what the pros use or you will never find those valves. Found all 11 of my valves in a matter of hours. This chatterbox will not help you only delay you

This absolutely works !!!
Worth every penny. Easy to use and it worked great. I did not know where any of my valve boxes were in my new house. Some valve boxes had 6 inches of dirt over them but I still was able to find them. Very useful. Thank you so much
