Call me a snob but I cannot stand clicking second hands on a clock. This wall click is also an influence of Jony Ive from Apple who invented the iPod interface and wheel. He said this is the most aesthetic for and off the shelf item. A+

I am furnishing a new house and I needed a clock for the media room that would be placed on the blackout wall behind the TV. I wanted to hold with the blackout theme which lands you in a place of limited choices - especially if the aesthetic is important to you. I did not want an illuminated clock because the whole goal of the blackout wall is to not interfere with the theater experience it affords. I was hopeful that the white painted hands against the black background would make the clock readable with just the glow from the TV. I am almost always able to read the time with the room darkened and the TV on. The TV is an LG C2 and dark means DARK - no backlight. Soooo, if the TV blacks out totally, the clock is not readable. Of course not, the room is totally dark and the clock is not illuminated. However with most programming the clock is readable 95+% of the time. The sweep second hand means no "tick-tock-tick-tock" during the quiet scenes while you're perched on the edge of the seat waiting on the stalker to step on a twig or something.Successful on all counts.

This clock looks amazing on the wall, and I can honestly say that I appreciate it each time I look at it. The 2nd had is relaxing to watch and it's only lost 9 seconds comparing to Atomic Time in 3.5 months.

This is a handsome clock. One of its interesting features is that the second hand sweeps continuously over the dial, instead of jumping every second like regular clocks.The clock runs on a single AA Battery, accessed by removing the rear lid (Rotate the lid in the direction of the arrow to open it )

In my opinion, this is the most elegant analog clock design of all time. Numbers are easy to read against the black background. Piece is also thoughtfully constructed: when it sits against the wall, it appears to float in space, giving it a pleasant lightness.
