I have no idea tomato paste could be tasty until I tried this one. You get a true taste of tomatoes it is rich and flavorful and concentrated and slightly sweet. After trying and buying case of this, you can never go back to the cheap stuff from the big-name commercial processors at the grocery store. I like to make a homemade tomato sauce with this by browning the Vitelli tomato paste first, a technique I found through New York Times cooking.

Have always used this paste for my sauce for its excellent and consistently good taste. Have had a problem securing a supply in my area lately and even online ordering is sporadic.

Tastes like the tomatoes just came off of drying in the sun

Every can in the bunch were damaged. Each one with a large dent in it.

This paste is so delicious and perfectly sweet. It has a rich red color and not a trace of bitterness---HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
