These combs with the enlongated tines are useful in many applications besides just a hair fixer.As a Hair fixer I modified this thing by plucking every other tine with a pair of pliers. Works better that way for the Mrs. when she does her morning ablutions.Otherwise it is a dandy separator for wiring alignment, cleaning brushes, Striking parallel scoring..... sotsa stuff.Why did we not just go to the local bueaty supply store for this?This is the ONLY source that has JUST ad round top..... I'm not too enthusiastic about having a tool topped with a FIST.Knob - yes. Fist - no.8-?

Believe it or not I ordered this "pick comb" for the kitchen! I watched YouTube videos about how picks like these can help you cut even slices in fruits and veggies (you cut in between the tines). I purchased this to help my daughter with her knife skills as she likes helping me in the kitchen and she is only 9. She is able to hold on to this pick with her left and and cut even and uniform slices in fruits and veggies for everything from dinner to fruit tarts.
