Easier to work with than I expected
I watched several Youtube videos about grouting a shower floor with an epoxy grout and was a little apprehensive going in this direction, but the official Starlike Youtube video convinced me this product was easier to work with than most other epoxy grouts. Overall, the product mixed easily by hand, applied and cleaned easily, and I didn't run into the issue of it hardening too quickly. I originally purchased a 5 pound tub thinking that would be enough for a roughly 16 Sq. Ft. shower floor, but had to purchase a second tub to finish the job - which was for 1 inch "penny" tiles. So about $150 to grout a fairly small shower floor, but I think it was well worth the price given the end-result and ease of use. I purchased the "Bianco Assoluto" which is basically a plain white grout without the glitter additive and it looks fine.

Expensive grout
This was recommended to me by the tile shop. I bought this grout for glass mosaic tile. It takes a lot of time to use because you must stop periodically to clean up the haze on the tile. You must be very meticulous using this. Whether or not it is worth it will be the test of time. It looks beautiful now. It'll be interesting to evaluate it over time. I hope the extra cost will be worth it by not having any yellowing and less mildew. TBD!

So far the best behaving epoxy grout
This stuff applies way better than the kerapoxy cq we used for the first bathroom. The grout sand in this is fine compared to the coarse sand in the kerapoxy. There was enough liquid hardener (5.5 oz) to measure out on a scale in a cup and divide it into 2 batches keeping the ratios perfect. Follow the instructions exactly! they like it to go on with the tile dry. It took 2 ea 5.5 lb containers to do our tub of 32 x 60 x 80" high using 4 1/2 x 10" tiles with a 1/8 space. They say work time is an hour but I divided it because I'm slow and I probably didn't need to. It wasnt hard after sitting for an hour but it was rock hard the next day. Cleanup was great. No haze after first rubdown and 2 washes. Did 3 washes but probably didnt need to. Clean water makes it nice. I also noticed that it was well packed and the containers were undamaged. There is a plastic divider between the bag of hardener and the hardener was in a tough plastic bag

Great product
I found dividing the product into quarters and applying with automotive bondo spreader worked best. Do your best to minimize the epoxy on the tile. Wait 24 hours, then scrape with a razor blade and mist with a spray bottle filled with Dawn and water and work with a coarse scotchbrite pad. Wipe with a clean towel immediately after. It’s a lot of work, but when you’re done, it looks great and will last for a really long time

Bummer purchase
Followed some advice about sealing pebble stone since epoxy grout will discolor the stone. I applied 511 Impregnator Sealer to white pebble stone and waited 24 hours before grouting which was also white. All stones turned brown, and yellow and beige with Starlike and along with an additive... after a few days, decided I couldn't live with it and have since dug it all up and still in the process of starting over. Expensive lesson and mystery.

HORRIBLE product!! Very short working life and IMPOSSIBLE to clean up!
This epoxy grout almost had me in tears, and I'm a "guys guy" type of dude. Bought this to re-grout my pool tile. It stated 60 minute minimum working time. Ok great. WRONG! The first 10 minutes was great. Then, BAM! It got SO sticky, my wet sponge wouldn't come clean and I'm just smearing the stuff all over the tile & pebble finish trying to wipe it clean. I got about 1/10 of the pool grout joints done before 90% of the bucket became JUNK and a waste of $70, PLUS it destroyed a $20 epoxy grout float, $8 drill mixer and my wife's mob bucket that I was using for sponge water. You can't clean this crap off anything! I've soaked my hands in acetone and mineral spirits and they're STILL white & sticky!!! PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS unless you can use it all in 10 minutes or less!!! How the hell did this product ever make it to market???

Fantastic. Far superior to traditional grout.
This can be used over existing grout. It is more work, but worth it! It's stickier than traditional grout so you should be careful to not get it on tile or clean tiles more during the process.
