Works really well thing fits under my slip around case with no issues.
You do have to be careful when ordering one of these, while most any Qi charger works with this, the problem is the connection. The two main outlets on your phone are USB C, and USB micro. This is a type A USB micro. USB C is perfectly oval and can be used either way, but micro is a triangular trapezoid shape, and the narrow side can be up or down. Since the flat ribbon cable is coming from the back of the phone it must be able to be plugged into the port with the proper orientation as you cannot twist the ribbon cable. Look at your phone, two things are important, one is that orientation, and two the port must be in the center of the end, not off to the side. They may make cards that work on the side, but you'd have to find one. It won't likely work with a very thick case or some strap on lanyard that covers the back of the phone you need to be close to the Qi charger, and laid relatively flat.I just got a speaker phone with charger and after installing about 60 seconds to do, I put it on the charger and it immediately read phone was charging. Works well, as fast as the plug-in micro cable. In the past I'd used a flip phone for years and charge the battery outside. My current phone was used for testing mostly due to using WIFI apps. Ports to connectors are only designed for so many insertions. With phones I'd guess a couple hundred at best, but not certain. A lot of my friends had their port wear out, some cheap ones damage easier. This method allows you not to put any wear and tear on the port so you can save it for backup power when on camping or other remote locations. At home just put it on the charger platform at night and you're good to go all day (at least for more efficient phones). Recommended.

THICK and doesn't work
I bought this particular adapter because it is touted as fast charge where most aren't. I've used these (different brand) a number of times with zero issues. However, this arrived today and I plopped it right into the case. First thing I noticed is how thick it is. You can see the bulge in the photos I took. This means the phone no longer sits flat, and rocks when I pit it on the charger.Worse tho, is I stuck it on the charger when it was at 89% battery. The phone gave the right feedback and the charging indicator came on. So I left it for a bit. When I got back, the charging indicator was still on, but now my phone was at 86%!! Dropped 3% while charging? So I took it off the charger and left it lying on my desk for the same amount of time that it was on the charger (about 25 mins). When I picked it up after the time was up, it was at 85% battery.Just to be sure, I tried it again. I stuck it back on the qi charger for another 25 ?mins, while it still read 85%. 25 mins later? 81%. Yup, it goes discharges FASTER while charging using thus device. And this is being used on a moto g stylus, a model that is explicitly mentioned as compatible. So, I would probably get a new one bases solely on the thickness. But since it discharges the battery while it should be charging, there's nothing keeping me using this thing.

Works great with some limitations
Fits just fine in a rubberized phone case and works quite well. It won't fit inside the plastic shell of an Otterbox armored case. At least not without crushing the back of the phone case. And it won't charge very well if at all inside it either. It will be a TIGHT fit between the plastic shell of an Otterbox and is rubber outer casing. There it will work. The con is that is ties up the USB port and protrudes out of the case there as well. On an Otterbox you CAN'T close the cover over the port to keep it dust and water resistant.

A little quirky but works well as long as you know how to deal with issues
I am writing this review in hopes it may help troubleshoot some issues for others. First off, installation was easy and fit well with my case. I have an iPhone SE (released between 6 and 7–essentially and iPhone 6 in the body of a 5). I have a Speck case that is thin but durable. The receiver fit nicely into the case and I looped the cable just a bit to get the plug into the lightening port.It works well with a range of Qi chargers. However, every once in a while it will start to charge then lose the connection with the charger and reset. This can go on every few seconds as it almost seems to cycle. One time it just stopped working all together. When it just stopped working, I plugged the adapter into another older iPhone I had around and it appeared functional. Placed it back on my SE and it worked again. More recently, it would connect to the charger but start the cycle of disconnecting and reconnecting every 10 seconds or so. A soft reset of the iPhone seemed to fix the issue (hold power and home button simultaneously for 10 seconds until you see the phone restart with the Apple logo). This tells me most likely there is a software issue that crops up once in a while and so far not the hardware. Wireless charging is still relatively new and suspect there are still a few kinks to work out. Think of it like a Windows computer that sometimes needs a restart when it locks up. 4 stars because it’s good and works well across at least 4 Qi adapters but requires the occasional nudge.
