Grohtherm 1000 Performance Shower Mixer LEAKING after one year use
Purchased on Amazon and installed two Grohtherm 1000 Performance shower mixers in complete sets with shower rods, heads and hoses an year ago. So far everything was fine, but lately we noticed a leak from one of the mixers. The leak is from the “Temperature” side even when the “Flow” knob is completely closed.Speaking straight l didn’t expect such early problems with a product from a reputable company like Grohe as this was my main concern in choosing it when compared to other twice cheaper options from other manufacturers’s offers on Amazon.Otherwise the product is of great design and looks really good when installed, albeit the reliability problem we encountered with our unit.I plan to contact the Grohe US reps to check if they can be of any help but the disappointment is still there.

Sehr gute Funktion
Die Grohe 1000 Performance kann ich empfehlen.Positiv:- Preis 145€ noch akzeptabel- Griffe sind "angeraut" und für mich sehr gut zu greifen, auch bei Wasser und Seife- Temperaturregelung funktioniert sehr schnell und unsere alte Heizung stellt eine Mischbatterie vor Herausforderungen- Temperatur an der Oberfläche bleibt ausgewogen. Keine heißen Stellen.- Normaleinstellungen finde ich passend. Es geht auch darum Wasser und Energievergeudung zu vermeiden- Knöpfe für höhere Temperatur und mehr Wassermenge finde ich einfach zu bedienen- stabile Ausführung, einfacher Einbau, Adapter sind enthalten- "Plastikgriffe" sind überhaupt kein Problem. Hier kann ich die Kritik nicht teilenEines kann ich nicht verstehen: Wieso druckt man die Temperaturangabe und Normalstellung horizontal drauf, also so, dass man sie von oben nicht lesen kann? Seit wann baut man Mischbatterien auf Augenhöhe ein? Die Aufdrucke und die Normalstellung gehören etwas nach oben versetzt, dann kann man sie auch lesen, wenn man in der Dusche steht.Also: Man macht nichts verkehrt mit diesem Produkt. Es ist eine Frage, ob man dieses Design oder ein anderes haben möchte.
