Pretty, sleek, feels nice in the hand and has good flame control.
Hard to charge. I have no experience filling these things but the nozzle on the butane cans don't seem to fit the receptacle no matter what little attachment they sell me so most of the butane goes by-by into the air. Haven't visited U-tube yet, sure it is just me.

Torch works no issues
This torch works without issue. There is one knob on the torch that does not do anything, but that doesn't matter because simply the torch does a good job at crisping up things around the kitchen. I have also used in the workshop for coloring wood and other cool items. You can adjust the flame and it was very easy to fill.Keep in mind that this does NOT come with fuel, i think that's pretty standard as its hard to ship these things. I headed to the big box store and it was easy enough to pickup. To fill you simply press the nozzle to the fillup port and just push down until you don't hear any noise. Then click the button adjust the flame and your off. A lot quicker and more efficient then using the broiler in the oven, plus you can't forget about it and burn your hard cooked meal.

Amazing Torch
I have purchased 3 of these (2 were gifts) and they are simply amazing. You can use them for food, starting fires or lighting cigars. The amount of butane that goes in lasts a very long time which is great. Just remember that you need to order your butane separately.

Packs a punch!
This handy little blow torch really packs a punch! It's also easy to use and to refill. The flame is conveniently adjustable, so you can tailor its performance for the job at hand. In the kitchen, it can easily sear a steak or perfectly brown the surface of a crème brûlée. It can also serve a a fireplace tool; it's powerful enough that you should be able to ignite your kindling even without using any crumpled newspaper to help it out. I'm sure that you could also use it to sweat a pipe, for a home plumbing job, although I don't intend to use it that way.As is clearly stated in the Amazon listing, this torch does not come with any butane; so you will have to purchase that separately (if you don't happen to have any on hand). It has a very solid feel and appears to be very well made. I expect it to give good service for years to come.

Has dangerous design flaw, but can be adapted to with caution
When the flame control is set to lowest or lower length flame, on first ignigting (by pulling trigger), the flame shoots out to about 8 to 10 inches long, for about 2 or 3 seconds, before returning to the short flame setting of an inch or half inch flame. Each time the trigger is released, this brief, very long flame flares, no matter the setting. If using one hand for the burner and positioning the FM after I next with the other hand, there is tendency to expect a short flame to reappear if doing on-off work. A bad burn to the positioning hand is far too easy, if the hand was just fine and safe a moment ago, with a short flame, then stop and restart and a long, hot jet flare of flame shoots out passed target to the other hand. If you remember to ALWAWS start by poi ting the flame straight up or directly away from anything, the long start-up flame can burn down after a few seconds to the short flame setting, then it may be pointed at close work. It seems to hold a reserve of excess gas near the nozzle that needs to burn away each time it is relit.Other than this surprising problem, it is well enough made, easy to use and good value for price. just be very careful when learning to use it and try to always keep the long flame flaw in mind to avoid bad, quick burns! Never let children or unaware adults use without supervision!
