This cage is intended to provide a frame for the Insta360 One R with any lens module and the Boosted Battery. It’s well molded, fits the One R perfectly and has what seems like a reliable latching system. It also has two cold shoes which is one of its big draws for me. I don’t have any complaints. This fits my newly arrived Insta360 One R just fine and allows me to mount a wireless microphone (with required adapter) and small video light. My first impression is that this is a near perfect vlogging setup. Should experience prove otherwise, I will modify this review appropriately. And the price makes this a true bargain.Jerry

It works! ABS plastic . It supports the Boosted Battry Base . It includes the Go Pro mounts .

Overall case is not bad, but on/off rubber buttons are so stiff, that I was not able to use it and returned it.

I dont have the 360 lense so I am not sure if it will effect the recording angle but for the regular 4k lens it works great. I use a amplified mic with the usb c adapter along with a light and makes recording easy and hassle free.

I did not receive the quick release buckle with my order (which is listed in the "packing list", and in the advertised photo). It's also hard to fit into other mounts (it doesn't fit some of my mounts at all).

Hi,I have not inspect the received item until recently when I tried to install my camera with the Boosted Battery Base. I could not close and lock the item within the Mount Bracket because the "top" part of the bracket is missing from the package (pointed in red arrow of the attached photo).Thanks.ENG Cher Shin
