Elchim Cocoon 2001-Milano Diffuser

I was skeptical to purchase due to reviews about it not fitting the 2001 but it fits perfectly! I didn’t have to switch any pieces around (no husband necessary) but it is a snug fit so you’ll have to push the diffuser on a little bit harder than you’d expect. Diffuser gave me bouncy, frizz free curls and the diffuser quality is true to the Elchim brand. So happy I bought it!

The head of the diffuser attachment has silicone grip pieces. It's already designed to fit the Elchim hairdryers its compatible with (mine is the Elchim 2001), but the silicon pieces give it a nice tight fit. It's never fallen off or gotten loose while drying.I use the diffuser to dry my curls, and this attachment did the job nicely. I had voluminous and bouncy curls after drying.I'm glad I was able to find this product on Amazon, I had trouble finding it at the beauty supply retailers in my area.

Previous reviewers mentioned a thick rubber band on the outside of this diffuser. One person mentioned that ber husband was able to get the band correctly on the inside in order to attach the diffuser correctly. Well, I wish they lived next door! I have the band about halfway toward the right spot. Why doesn't the manufactor put the band on in the factory!!!Even so I am able to use the diffuserbut I worry that it might fly off.

This fits my hair dryer and is a good replacement for my lost diffuser.
