I wondered the same thing at first, but I ordered Dragon Quest XI, Definitive Edition, and the one I received is the American version. It is a great game, but I still like Dragon Quest VIII the best - my opinion.

Q: Will this version have the option of 4k, hdr or 60 fps? i heard somewhere it uses the switch version code, just higher resolution? thanks in advance.

The game is 60fps on PS4 Pro and PS5 only. No 4k option. It is 900p 30fps on standard PS4 and 1080p on PS4 Pro and PS5.

Q: Is all content on disc?

As far as I know, the only things now on the disc are some dlc outfits.
