The top bike tool brand
You can get a hex tool very cheap but for a little bit more I got this Park Tool since they are a top brand in bike tools. The hex tools are housed in plastic which is not great for durability but is good for being lightweight so you can take it in your bike bag on every trip because things get loose on a bike and you will be very happy to have this simple, inexpensive gear when you need it.

Good quality, very compact, fine for most bolt-related maintenance tasks on a modern bike.
I had this for about 5 years and it served me great tinkering over many bikes.Hex ends seem to be holding up great, only needed to tighten up the body screws a couple of times as those get a bit loose with time. I somehow managed to bend the tip of the 2.5mm by stepping on it, but cut those 6mm~1/4" off with a cutting tool and it works fine now.Would buy again if I was to misplace mine.

Very handy tool
I keep this in my pocket at work and I use it frequently. The handle not only allows it to be compact but it also allows good torque and grip to loosen tough screws
