The working edge on these is nice and thin, yet it almost immediately tapers into a thick enough piece of metal that the entire tool is almost rigid. This is perfect, since it means you can get these into fine crevices but then actually apply force using them to open your device. They're also lightweight enough that you can leave several stuck between pieces without their own weight trying to torque them out.Compared to the  iFixit Jimmy , these are the superior choice. They're almost identical lengths, but the jimmy has a thinner, untapered blade that's about five times more flexible. Too much flex, in my opinion, and not as useful, particularly when the heavier Jimmy can't really be left wedged in place as easily as a result. The 10 of these or the 1 jimmy are priced within a dollar of each other currently, and I'd take the 10 of these every time.

My company makes a product that is very difficult to open without thin pry tools. We have been using iPhone tools and I bought these spudgers on a whim to see if they would work any better. My installers are thrilled with the quality of these spudgers and love how thin they are and how sturdy the handle is. I will be ordering more.

Another Amazon Cheap Chinese import. Crude materials and fabrication but they work for most uses. Fair value.

Haven't used these much but they are sturdy and should work great for multiple purposes.

I have worked on some devices in the past without a proper spudger tool. After searching, I decided on these. While I haven't used them yet, they feel like quality tools. I look forward to the next project, now that I have these spudgers to help!

Does exactly what I need it to and it's exactly as sturdy as it needs to be. I use it to open up electronics with plastic enclosures.Be forewarned that this shouldn't be used to open up a phone, as it's conductive and may pierce the battery accidentally; plastic spudgers are better for those, but plastic ones are much flimsier overall, which is why I prefer these in most situations.
