My cats love this water dispenser. I purchased this over half a year ago and my cats officially prefer having constant circulating water. I leave a bowl of standing water out in case the electricity pops preventing this dispenser from working, but the cats ignore the standing bowl and solely use this dispenser. It barely makes any noise, just enough that it sounds like one of those soothing zen, water garden machines. We have really hard water where we live, but as long as I kept rinsing the filters well, they last quite a while before I have to replace them.One potential drawback, depending on your preference, is you can't turn off the blue nightlight. It's nice for the cats, I suppose, that they're always able to see the location of the water bowl. But if you desire a completely black room, you're not going to have that with this dispenser. The one thing that's a must-have for this dispenser is bottle brushes. It's easy to accrue slime, unless you rinse with hot water every day or two. There are tiny nooks and crannies where slimy bacteria can gather if you're not careful. However, baby bottle brushes easily cleans it away.

Like others, I unplugged mine for the first time to clean it, and when I went to plug it back in it wasn't working. I was about to purchase a replacement motor and saw a video on how to clean it. On the front of the motor that little panel comes off. Then you remove the blue circle part and pull out the magnetic propeller. I cleaned it with the little brush, put it back together, and it works like new again. I’ve had it about a month, and overall found it to be very easy to assemble, good price, and the quality on par! My cat took no time at all to start drinking from it, and is definitely drinking more water since purchasing.I was preciously using a stainless steel water fountain from Catit, and that one did not stand up in quality, ease of assembly/cleaning, nor visibility of water level.Have made an effort not to use straight tap water when refilling it (using Brita pitcher water, or gallon jug of Ozarka spring water), and that seems to make all the difference in how much hard water build up accumulates on the stainless steel lid, as well as maintaining the longevity of the filter.

My cat is addicted to it. But it only lasted seven months before it would quit pumping, making pitiful whirring sounds. During the seven months that it worked, I did let it run out of water three times, for a few hours each time. Maybe that's enough to have caused it to fail after seven months, who knows. I am chalking it up to experience and will see how the next one goes, keeping a closer eye on water level. Cat really loves it, and it's very quiet when it's working right. So that's why I bought another one. Even if this one only lasts the same amount of time, it's worth it. To be frank, I never expected something like this to last more than a few months running 24 hours a day. 3.5 stars.

I originally bought one of these to place in my room for my cats. However, it was so popular my roommates cats kept sneaking into my room for a drink too! I ended up purchasing two of these to keep all the cats in the house happy. I've even caught my roommates shepherd/husky mix sneaking a drink. The pets are OBSESSED and I am very happy with my purchase(s)!!Noise is minimal, and the fountain itself is very easy to clean and maintain. Holds lots of water so I am having to refill less often than I was with a regular water bowl.

I bought this in December 2020. It took a while for my kitties to accept it but now 2 out of 3 drink from it regularly. They prefer this to a bowl now. I am reviewing this because I wanted to purchase replacement filters and noticed that when I ordered this it was supposed to come with 3 filters. I only received 1. My own fault though I didn't look at the description after I received it. But, other than that this is a great product. Easy to use and no problems in 6 months.

My cat used to ask to drink from my bathroom sink every day. He lives using his water fountain whenever he wants. He has not been at my sink since. It is very quiet and has a nice blue light as well that makes it easy to see at night. (For me and my kitty). It also has very little to no splash so my cat is not afraid of it.

I think it’s super cute, the light is a nice touch, however my only issue with this is it says it’s 84 ounces, like the bag it was wrapped in, the paper I got, and there’s no way this thing can hold 84 ounces lol. The one I had before this one holds more water then it can but it stopped working which is why I got this one.It also says the water will last a week roughly, we shall see about that one.Maybe I’m wrong.
