CC Shop Simple and Elegant Shift Dress

I have this dress in both black and white. I purchased the black version first and then decided to order the white one as well. Even though the dresses are the same style, the look is very different between the black and white. Both are very classic and would be appropriate for many occasions. Accessorizing takes this dress from casual to formal.It comes with a separate slip so it is ready to wear right out of the package. Since the slip is separate, it would also be possible to wear a contrasting bright slip underneath for a totally different look--red or bright blue would be awesome. The white version of the dress looks elegant with pastel colored slips also. The lace outer dress fits close to the body, so it might be good to order a size up from your usual, depending on your body type. The slip was stretchy so it would have fewer fit issues. The 3/4 length sleeves are good for wear in a variety of seasons. I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review.

The dress itself is beautiful and I love the length. The size is not TTS though. It is too big on me. I would love to switch this out for a small and give a much better review.

This outer part of this dress seems to be of really good quality material - the lace is not flimsy or prone to catching and snagging or ripping - which is of concern to me since I have two small kids. The underslip of the dress is a bit thin, and I feel like the straps are really long (I have really short shoulders though), making the under slip a bit low cut for my tastes. It would be nice if the underslip was attached to the dress as it can ride up or the straps fall down. I really like this dress and feel like it has potential to be worn dressy or more casual depending on the shoes and accessories that are paired with it. It was a little looser than I anticipated in the waist - I was hoping it would nip in a bit more, but it's still flattering and hides the little extra bulge from babies :) Overall I'm happy with this dress, feel like it will hold up well, and will get a lot of use since it's so versatile. There are a few small things mentioned above that could make it a bit better, but I'm happy with this purchase.I received this dress at a discounted price in exhange for an honest and unbiased review. LOVE this dress!!!! I am always hesitant to order dresses online due to the fact I am SHORT at 5'2" and I struggle with length.... They are always way below the knee and well let's just be honest it looks terrible. So seeing the photo and above the knee I thought I would give it a shot.So it arrives and my first initial thought was OMG this looks like it is going to be huge... Ok ok so I learn never judge a book by it's cover!!!! I put it on and it fits perfect! I love it, it comes above my knee and it is comfortable. LOOKS great with boots!!!!I would like to mention that it is very see through even with the cream slip underneath so make sure you wear similar color underclothing or another tank topI don't see any washing instructions and unsure how to wash this dress?I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. This Mesh and Lace shift Dress is beautiful. Unfortunately, because the material has no stress, no give to it, it fits tight. It is a thicker lace, so I believe with good care it will be a dress that lasts for generations. It is well sewn and has a great durable 3/4 invisible zipper down the back.Can easily wear nylons and heels to dress up, or leggings for a more casual look. Nice for all body types too, because of the cut of the dress and material, it hides the bumps and lumps we may not like to show.Another nice feature of this dress is the silky tank dress under piece. It is soft so it is comfortable to the skin. The only down fall is it can become staticy- so make sure you have your can of static guard handy.I would recommend this dress- it is as shown and more.....- the only reason it did not get 5 stars is because of the slightly tight fit.I received this product at a discount to give my honest review of it.

This is a very nice dress. I ordered it in cream so that I could pair it with a belt and brown boots for a more dressed down look or with heels and some jewelry for a dressier look. I am 5’5” and weight about 130lbs so I ordered a small and it fits pretty well, a bit loose in the hips.The dress is 100% polyester and is hand wash and air dry. The dress is in two pieces, the liner and the lace overlay. My only complaint about this dress is that the layers aren’t connected. It took some maneuvering to get the dress lined up appropriately, but there were no issues with shifting once it was aligned.The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are very good. Very nice lace dress that is versatile as it can be dressed up or dressed down. Being in between a size small and medium, I ordered this in medium but should have ordered small. This dress is not fitted tight around the waist at all, so the medium looks a little big on me but this can be solved with a belt. I'm also considering taking in the sides at the waist a bit to make it more form fitting. Other than that I really like this dress. The outer lace part has a delicate and beautiful design, the inner slip is not connected and feels comfortable. Can't wait to wear this to a holiday party.
