How can I clean this case? It is getting dirty from my bag and has a stain from when I was eating (oops!)

I used hot water and dawn soap. I spilled some of my cheeseburger on mine the day I got it and the dawn got it out with some hot water. An alternative option is put a patch over the stain, Patches hold to the material very well and a great way to personalize it!!

Is the hard aspect of the case substantial enough to handle a small drop

No, it is no otter box lol it is Neoprene padding. No plastic or hard casing. Small drop ehh depends on your laptop at that point

Is arvok laptop sleeve tsa approved

Well, when we went through security in Chicago, we were asked to remove the computer from the sleeve. At Heathrow in London, they said it was fine to leave it in the sleeve. Hope that helps.
