It does what it is suppose to do. The LED lights are a nice feature. We purchased three of these to replace ones that we purchased at Costco. My wife wanted the LED lights. The sunbrella fabric is not as thick. The pipe is not as thick. This biggest issue is when the umbrella is down the handle is not exposed. It is under the umbrella. You have to reach under it and crank it a few times before you have easier access to the handle. On the last one we purchased the hand crank is extremely hard to turn when lowering the umbrella. There are end pieces are located in the middle braces and arms that protect the metal from tearing the fabric. Several of them have fallen off and we have lost a few. We apply gorilla glue when reinserting the end pieces. I attached a picture of the piece that is falling off. The hand crank that is hard to turn. The hand crank which is under the umbrella.

Excellent quality all around. So sturdy. Lights are great. Zero issues. there's nothing hard about setting it up - you just have to connect the plug at the end of the wires into the solar panel. My 7-year-old could easily do it. Just look at the top of the umbrella and connect it.There are umbrellas that are less expensive, but I knew I made the right decision as soon as this came out of the box. It screams sturdiness and high quality. My handyman (who was doing other work on my deck) just kept saying "wow" as I put this up. He's certainly seen many patio umbrellas in his life.This is a very different kind of patio umbrella than the cheap ones. I'd believe it cost three times as much. It's nicer than the ones in the outdoor seating sections at some of the restaurants we go to.You won't regret it.(I use this with shademobile's rolling umbrella base. Nice combination!)

We love this solar umbrella for our back patio! It allows us to utilize our table in the back yard. Prior to this purchase, we were unable to make good use of our back yard kitchen area. It now get a lot of use! And we have received many comments from guests about how the lighting is perfect - not too bright but bright enough to eat, drink, and have conversation. We would definitely purchase all over again!

We've only used the umbrella a couple of times so far, but so far so good. I like that there are cords built in to tie the umbrella shut when not in use. We haven't had any problem yet with cranking the umbrella up. I was surprised to find the switch for the lights on one of the ribs near the edge of the umbrella rather than on the pole, but I'm sure that simplified the wiring and it works fine. Once or twice the lights have been on when I cranked the umbrella up, so I'm not sure if the switch is being triggered when cranking the umbrella up or down. The solar panel on the top is a bit boxxy, but probably can't be avoided. When I tilted the umbrella, at first it just swivled based on the direction of the wind until I figured out how to lock it down in the table. For this price, it's a super great deal. So easy to put together. We powered up the solar and in the evening opened up the umbrella, turned the lights on, and enjoyed the evening. The on/off switch for the lights is at the end of one of the ribs. The crank is really easy to use, you don't have to struggle to open the umbrella. The tilt mechanism is high up the pole for me but if I stand on a stool I can reach the button - the tilt tilts in all directions. Fabulous product, I totally recommend it.

Absolutely perfect umbrella! The lights work so well we entertain on the patio and the umbrellas light is incredible. The whole family is enjoying it.

I like everything about these umbrellas. I will NEVER buy another outdoor umbrella if it's not Sunbrella fabric. That stuff lasts forever. And these umbrellas are very well constructed. Very happy with this purchase. Expensive but worth it.

I couldn't be more disappointed, when I got it ready to open up 3 pins fell out from the top, so I lowered it & put the pins back in only to fall out again. the directions were by far the worst I've ever seen & made no mention of the pins & their need. At night I opened it again to see if the lights went on & they did (very nice) But the top came apart proving that the pins are their for a reason but why do they fall out??????? Now the umbrella is useless. I live in a small Villa & no storage so of course I threw the box in the recyclables VERY UNHAPPY
