This product worked great for what it was designed for.
I put this mirror on my 5th wheel camp trailer to help be able to hookup by myself. It worked great. However? I screwed a couple of magnets to the hitch so I could easily remove it after hook up. This way I don’t have to worry about it getting accidentally broken.

Great for 5th wheel
I installed it on our 5th wheel RV king pin assembly. I proceeded to crack the mirror the first time I attempted to hitch up. My fault because I failed to rotate the mirror so the majority of the assembly was higher. As fate would have it, the glass had a single crack top to bottom, directly in the middle. I placed a strip of 3" yellow duct tape over it to seal over the crack. Ironically, this actually improved my ability to correctly hook up! While watching this mirror via my interior rear view mirror, the yellow tape simply needs to block the saddle opening and everything aligns perfectly. The mirror sits perfectly aligned with the king pin so the yellow tape will appear in the mirror as blocking the saddle opening. If you can't see the saddle opening because of the tape, you are right on target!

Great help!
This helps me out a lot to get right on the ball the first time without backing up and pulling forward a dozen times. You may have to move up or back a tad to get centered just right but it has saved me a lot of time hooking up my gooseneck horse trailer by myself.

Makes it easy
Have not used it a whole lot. But my truck can is to big to see the pin line up with the hitch but with this it make it way easier

Absolutely essential equipment
This is a nicely made and substantial mirror. I had it welded onto the coupler post of my gooseneck horse trailer. It makes hook-up easy as pie, even in the dark. No more up and back, up and back. For those who operate alone, this equipment is essential.

Back up straight to hook up
I works great if you are backing straight towards your trailer, but doesn't help if you have to back at an angle because the mirror only moves up and down, not side to side.

Universal bracket is not so universal
I have an R-pod and there is no location where this mirror can even attach to. I am going to work on a Velcro attachment for the mirror so I can remove it when it is time to crank the Jack. More options for attachment would make this mirror truly universal.
