Call me crazy bit this was my experience…I am a nurse and I purchased these for work. I kept fighting off a sore throat every day I went to work and on my days off I spent… trying to ward off getting full blown sock fro what ever I may have picked up at work. I only felt sick when I worked which had never happened all through COVID! I had a flu I had a cold and my friend said to me something is going on because you never ever get sick so she suggested that I stop wearing the masks and as soon as I stopped wearing these masks, I no longer had a sore throat and I stopped getting sick?? I thought is was important to share my experience so that if anyone else is experiencing the same thing, the company can look into where they are purchasing these from. I had purchased them. In the past and no problems and the deliver u was super quick. This last time it took weeks before they arrived which I thought was very odd as well.Anyway I am not trying to cause problems for the company but there is not doubt in my mind that something was in these masks making me very ill.

I am very pleased with my purchase! I bought these cute pink masks mid-September and wanted to make sure I tested them out before reviewing. This particular mask jumped out at me because of the cute pink color and I like to be different xD (and I prefer to use disposable masks) I'll start by saying that these masks are very comfortable! For me, they feel a wee bit bigger than the surgical masks I'd obtained from the doctor's office, but not too big of a deal. The thickness is freaking great. I was pleased to see that they weren't cheapy, see-through junk that I've seen people wear. I wear these masks for a couple of hours at a time and I haven't felt overly warm or had the urge to pull it down at all.Now for the at home test results! I determined that these masks are hydrophobic, or water repellant, on the outside. I sprinkled water on the front and it beaded up right away and when I filled the inside up with water, there was no leakage. Lastly, I did the little candle blowing test and I got the flame to flicker but not all the way out.I saw people say that their elastics snapped easily but I haven't had that happen yet.Lastly, I wanted to say that the service was great I got my masks two days earlier than the estimated arrival date which was awesome!The price has now gone up a little, but these masks are definitely worth it! You get a bang for your buck!

I love the color, feel, and comfort of these masks. My ears don’t feel pulled forward. My one disappointment is that the first five masks had the thin bit of metal for the nose adjustment for a more secure fit, but the rest I have used are missing that extra piece. Otherwise this is a pretty good mask and I am happy I purchased them.

I work in an office support role on a nurses' s station at a major US hospital and really liked the disposable, purple single use mask I received from my employer by the brand, Defend. I wore mine for about a week until it started to get a little fuzzy. Once the purple masks ran out, our only option was the cheap yellow ones that didn't fit as well. The Defend brand masks are impossible to find unless you run the supply chain at a hospital or dentist office, so I searched around for a comparable purple mask and hesitantly purchased these. I'm really glad I did! They are slightly lighter purple than the Defend brand but the only other noticeable difference was that the Defend brand mask has a nose/chin wire on both the top and bottom. These masks from this Amazon seller only have the nose wire on the top, which is fine. Otherwise they are the same size, shape, number and position of pleats, soft stretchy ear ties, white on the inside, very comfortable and no lingering smell, etc. They seem to be the same 3-ply thickness as Defend masks and no you can't blow a candle out with this mask on. Some complaints other people have is that these aren't N95's but they never claimed to be. They are meant for single use, go out and get your groceries, go to work type of masks. And I think they're perfect for what they're intended for.

I LOVE MY PINK MASKS!!! These are super comfy & simple as the blue disposable masks. Nothing special other than the color, but that’s all I wanted. The price was good now that prices have decreased everywhere, and I intend to purchase more from this seller once I run out as long as the price remains fair.I haven’t used enough of them to determine workmanship throughout the entire box of 50, but so far I’m very happy I haven’t encountered any breakage yet. I will update this review if that changes.UPDATE 4 MONTHS: I’m still extremely happy with these masks! I’ve used maybe 20% of the box, but haven’t experienced any breakage at all. Actually, the reason I used so few is because I wear them in 30 minute increments, & these hold up wonderfully despite constantly being pulled off my face & shoved in my car door (“safely removed & folded, then gently placed in my car door” if Mom is reading this). Once I notice the white is even slightly discolored, or the nose piece isn’t sitting right anymore, or the material looks worn in any way, I discard. I do use 2 at a time for extra safety (I have an underlying condition), but I discard them together the moment one shows signs of wear. This has worked for me so far, & I do believe it can work for others as long as other commonsense safety measures are followed. I will update again if anything changes; no update means no breakage yet.
