i'm an art student and got these for christmas about a year ago, and liked them so much that i went and bought another set once the old ones started to dry out. these markers are EXTREMELY fun to use and have a real fun layering quality to them, but they definitely wear down fast with frequent use and the fine tips especially dry out pretty fast. generally a spritz of rubbing alcohol will do the trick to liven them up again, but even then, mine wore out after a couple months of frequent use. however, i still really like them and recommend them to anyone looking to buy a set of fun little markers to mess around with

I have a BUNCH of different brand Alcohol Based Markers, including Ohuhu, Sanjoki, Bianyo, and other brands I can't remember off top of my head but nonetheless they are ALL Alcohol Based. I originally bought these to have them used by anyone visiting that wanted to color, frankly for $15 I was VERY skeptical, the only reason I even considered them was because of the reviews. These Markers are by far the best Water Based Markers I've ever used (granted my experience with water Based Markers are very limited tho too, so keep that in mind as well), I only just got these 3 days ago, so I have not had time to experience anything that may come later (like how long the ink will last being the biggest). But I can tell you that for the price of $15 for 34 Markers (so under .50¢ per pen), I highly doubt u will find better. Also I would kind of like to know if anyone knows of a Water Based marker that performs any better (at any price point).

Plenty of colors to choose from. Different tip sizes make them great for multiple drawing/coloring situations. My girlfriend loves them as a gift!

When I found these, I was searching for "paint pens to use on resin" because I needed some that would show up on black and darker colored resin for lines and detail work. This was marked as "Amazon's Choice for 'paint pens'" so, without actually reading everything, I bought it. These are NOT paint pens, they're just markers.The shipping was super fast, it was delivered the morning after I ordered it. Literally, when I woke up the next morning, it was on my porch. All of the markers look to be in perfect condition, I haven't actually used all of them, I've only used about 5 so far. I can't say if they're all perfect but, of the ones I've used, none were dried out or anything so I'm assuming they're all fully functional.I'm still giving a 5 star review because as markers, they work correctly 😂 they're just not paint pens so they won't show up on black or darker colors. It's 100% my fault that I didn't get what I was expecting, it says they're markers and the reviews with pictures show how they write. It's not the seller's fault that I was in a rush and this product is exactly what is listed.I have learned my lesson about buying without reading or being thorough 😂
