Good tough basic trash bags
These bags withstand at least moderate abuse. I like that they are made of recycled material. I also like that they are opaque. These are not fancy self-tying, super stretchy, overly engineered bags. They are just good simple bags that fit a standard kitchen trash can. Overall quality has been consistent the last couple years as best I can tell.

Good bags!
These bags are thick enough and strong enough, and the right size for a large kitchen trash can. It would be better if they had some kind of "handles" to tie up, and weren't cut straight across...

Thick, strong
These are some quality trash bags. They are thick and strong. The only complaint I have is they are difficult to tie, so they need tie strips on the bag that also could work as handles for carrying.

My new favorite trash bags!
I have been buying generic trash bags for years, while also buying more American made products wherever possible. I finally took the time to dig around online and see what US-made trash bags were available, and I was thrilled to find these. They're made in the USA and are also made from recycled materials. We recycle 3x more than we waste, and try to be mindful of how our purchases/usage impacts outside waste/recycling, so the trash bags seem like a perfect fit. We already have a lot of household goods that are made from recycled materials (toys, dishes, etc.) and had not yet considered trash bags!Anyway, These were at or close to the price-per-bag that I already paid for generic trash bags, so I happily ordered them. They are thicker than the cheap ones that I had been using, which is a pleasant surprise. I assumed that they would be a little more flimsy because they are made domestically and priced on par with the imported options. But thankfully they're thicker (which is great, because the generic ones would sometimes tear really easily).I am so glad that I took the time to do a web search for trash bags made in the USA! There isn't a way to filter 'place of manufacture' here on Amazon or I would have started using these bags years ago. I usually do a web search for 'made in USA' with the product I am looking to buy, and then find the names of a few brands/products that fit my request (then I go to Amazon and search for it directly). It is a little more work this way but I am happy to spend those extra few minutes if it means ultimately buying an awesome product like this (made in USA as well as from recycled materials - I couldn't be more happy about a set of trash bags than I am right now lol).I highly recommend these!

Love them.
I wanted to find garbage bags that were more eco friendly. Most of them had 10% or 20% recycled material but these were 100% recycled material so I was interested in trying them. They exceeded my expectations and work great - very thick, unscented. Per bag they were cheaper than the ones I was buying in the grocery store so I will continue to buy these feeling that I'm giving plastic one more use before going to the landfill.

Does the job well
Very sturdy trash bags. I don't have to worry about them tearing if I overstuff them.

Started out a 5 star ended up 2 star
As I'm in animal rescue I use a lot of disposable bags, in an effort to be more eco friendly I try to buy products which are either made from recycled materials or can be recycled. The Eco Renew bags seemed to fit my requirements. The first 24 bags on the roll worked great, then I started getting bags that were splitting on the side as they came off the roll. I want to be clear, as I pulled them off the roll the sides of the bags were split open, which of course I couldn't use. Having to toss so many bags is a waste of money and defeats the purpose of my trying to be more eco friendly. That said the bags that were manufactured properly held up GREAT! Probably 25% of the bags I use are for lining receptacles for used cat litter. When I pulled the filled bags out of the receptacle I never had a tear, leak or breakdown of the bag. Used litter is very heavy and that's my standard test for a trash bag. It's sad I won't be purchasing these bags again as I don't know if the bags coming off the roll will be usable.
