Warning! Not for Old (80’s) Coleman Stoves
I give this 4 stars simply for the fact that it is perfect, but does not work with our older Coleman Stove. Apparently you can’t get parts for the old stoves unless you find someone wit a used one. Contacted Coleman as I could NOT do a return via Amazon. They do not allow returns thru 3rd parties (Amazon). They were very kind and responsive and refunded my $. Their customer service was excellent. Wish that I knew in advance that it would not work with our stove. Thought I read that it works with “older camp stoves” but I could be wrong. Be forewarned that it WILL not work for 80’s or older camp stoves.

Excellent replacement
I purchased a 2 burner PerfectFlow stove and had it store for a couple of years. Somehow I lost this part and I was about to toss it away when I tried a search on Amazon (worst case I might waste a couple of minutes).Turns out a vendor still have them in stock. I purchased it and test it when arrived. It work as expected.Best hot meal after 12 hours blackout.

Coleman- is what it is
It's a brand spanking new coleman brand regulator. Worked perfectly for me to replace the old leaking one. It has just that perfect mediocre level of quality that you expect from all coleman goods. Just nice enough to work well and last a while (even longer if you're a tinkerer and maintain things), and just crappy enough to remind you its for camping and getting dirty, and its affordable because of that. Coleman ia one of those brands that isn't trying to sugar coat a perfectly so-so product. Never change, Coleman.

Engineered poorly, glitch needs fixing.
I finally figured out why my Coleman three burner stove won't work, and it seems to be this regulator from Coleman being poorly engineered. The filter screwed into the input end, the end that would go onto a one pounder, doubles as a pin pushing a safety valve, and it takes a compression set where the needle in the safety valve pushes against it. That shuts off the safety valve, which you can see inside of the end of the hose. It looks like a bicycle tire valve, with a tiny pin in it that gets pushed, that makes a depression in the filter it gets screwed against. That would explain why the stove worked fine for a week or so before it failed. One guy said in the question section that he used a 10 mm socket to loosen the screen assembly 1/4 turn, and it worked for him. I might try that. The other end of the regulator also is a screwed on fitting where how tight it is screwed on determines a pin pushing action where it fits to the stove. That could be another problem, but my bet is on the depression I can see in the filter material. This replacement Coleman regulator has exactly the same problem as the Coleman regulator it replaces. The stove still won't work, again, a week after purchasing a replacement regulator. This is Coleman's fault. They should bring their manufacturing back home.

It's a regulator
It's a regulator and it works. More disappointed that my original one that was less than 6 months old failed and had to be replaced by this one. This one does have a slightly different design than my original, but works perfectly fine.Used with a Coleman 2 burner camp stove w/ the piezo ingition.
