Concise and very useful.
I purchased the book earlier this week, and it arrived yesterday. First order of business was to extract the CD that came with the book, and check out the exercises. In the CD sleeve there is a paper with access and activation codes. After installing the software on the CD, I clicked on the “Exercises” tab and was provided about 40 performance-based exercises, which consisted of drag and drop, command line (such as, “use the command to verify connectivity to address 172.16.178.2”), and more. The book begins with the flashcards themselves, organized into chapters. The cool part was that I could look at the each of the flashcards on the right hand side of the page (3 cards per page), and easily turn the page to see the back side (and the answer) to each or all of the flash cards on the back of that page. I think having them all in a book is convenient, as I won’t lose any that way. It should also make it easier to go to a specific chapter, as they are organized by chapter. After the flashcard section, the book (on page 254) begins a very concise “reader’s digest” summary of the topics for each of the chapters. I have taken the CompTIA Network+ N10-006 exam, and the summaries are on point!I haven’t yet looked at the hundreds of sample questions that comes as part of the digital offering with this book, but I imagine that they are as good as the content I have seen so far, which is excellent.

Well Rounded resource for Network +
Paper flash cards at front are good, short chapters second half on book good too;Tech support for digital flash cards software poor;Contacted them many times, CD included is useless as just repointing to url

Not Worth $23
As others have said, there's good and useful information in this book, but there are better resources available, and some are free. The summary chapters, which start after the "flash cards," are the best part of the book and provide a useful overview. That's what kept my review from being 1 star.I feel the "flash cards" in the book are weak at best and the online flash cards are just plain bad. In the book, there are three flash cards per page and the answers for all three cards are on the back of the same page. If you review one flash card at a time and turn the page, you do risk seeing the answers for the next flash card. To be fair, you could avoid looking or cover the other answers with a folded piece of paper. Also, it may be helpful for some if the answers provided a little more detail. For example, one answer that simply said SAAS, could've said "Software As a Service (SAAS.)"The bigger issues I have are with the digital offerings that came with the book and the ones that didn't. The online flash cards are the worst I've ever seen. The questions are presented so you have to type in an answer, click check answer and then grade yourself. I've NEVER seen flash cards like that in my life. The website also looks like it came from the late 1990s, the interface is ancient. I'd also seen a review online that said this came with a PDF version of the book on the CD; it doesn't. If you use the CD to browse to Pearson's website for information on the Premium Version, they'll gladly sell you the electronic versions of the book and more practice exams for an additional $40. That just seems like poor business practices to me, especially when you're a company that wants to sell other products to IT Pros.Update: I knocked this down another star due to slow performance on the flash card website. When it takes upwards of 60 seconds to load your answer, the usefulness of flashcards drops considerably.

comes with a CD that links to a dead web page
This isn't card-stock flashcards. It's flimsy paper with 3 flashcards printed on each sheet, that you will need to cut apart. The pages aren't even perforated. It comes with a CD, that uses flashplayer, to link to a dead web page. Don't buy this.

New definition of "Flash Cards"
I haven't had a chance to dig through it yet, but at first glance, it loses two stars right away. It says "Flash Cards". There are several pages (about 220) in the book, in standard paperback stock, that can be cut out to be used like flashcards. This would physically destroy the book, and they are not cards at all, so they will get destroyed themselves easily. At least the ones on the disk, should be portable, with my phone... I look forward to trying them.

Not terribly conducive to studying.
The information is just as you would expect, but I'm not a fan of the formatting. No one wants to cut up a book and they put 3 questions to a page so you either have to answer all three or risk seeing the next answer. So your choices are cut up your book or change the way flashcards are intended to be used.
