Mattel Toss Across

I used Toss Across in the speech therapy room by attaching trading card sleeves and sliding in all sorts of flashcards. Sometimes kids need to match vocabulary within categories, sometimes we work on articulation, you can put single letters on each spinner and work on easy reading or add numbers and work on addition (by adding the numbers across). Lots of options beyond the typical tic-tac-toe! Game is as fun and sturdy as you remember. Assembly was easy.

got this for my husband who is 48yrs. old. he had always wanted 1 of these when he was a kid so i thought it would be great to create that feeling of nostalgia for him. it came quicker than expected so thanks Kaplan. it was easy to put together and this classic toy is still great fun. my son & husband have enjoyed playing with it so far. its not cheaply made. nothing more priceless than the look on my husband's face when he finally got his own toss across.

This is a cheap toy and takes up a lot of space, but the kids enjoyed playing with it.

I was very disappointed when I received the Toss Across. It was described on the website that it was one that could be put on the floor and larger. It took a while to receive it and was shocked that it was a Table Top one and the very same one that Toys R Us sold for $9.99 and I paid almost $40 for this one. I sent it back the very same day. This was my first experience with ordering on Amazon and don't think I will attempt to use it again even though they did make it very easy to return the article. Suggest someone check the description on line with the price before filling the order with something less except for the price. The box actually said Table Top and the one I ordered was not to be the small table top one. I would appreciate you checking into this problem so others won't have the same experience as I had. Thank you.

Bought this for neighbors kids , 9 and 8 ...had fun putting together and enjoyed playing .what a great indoor outdoor game.activity more than a video game but not so roundly to drive mom crazy.

The not so good points:1. It's made in China.2. As some reviewers have noted, this game is not the same as the original. It is smaller, not built as well being made out of 100% plastic, and the X/O sections do not spin as well as the original game.3. You have to add the X and O letters via stickers to the spinners. This is a bit of a pain and you must be careful not to tear the stickers when pealing them off of the sheet they are on and of course put them on nice and straight for a neat looking game.4. Maybe it's the new generation, but I've found that children (any even myself) find this game fun at first then after a couple of weeks near total interest is lost.The positive points:1. Although 100% plastic and smaller, it's not that bad and still fun to play (at least for a few weeks).2. The price is right for what you get.

I bought this to be played by seniors at some of our special get togethers to put a little OOOMPH! into the day along with a couple of other 'toys', it turned out to be too hot to play games for the seniors in our group but their children and grandchildren had a great time with it. I found it really easy to put together which was half the fun! So, even though our seniors haven't tryed it yet I will continue to bring it out when the weather gets cooler and give them a chance to enjoy it as a player instead of a watcher! Recommend it for all ages!

I played this game 40 years ago and it was fun. I play with my 8year old Granddaughter and the fun hasn't changed. She loves it and finds is suspenseful anticipating what the bags are going to do. I found it easy to assemble and it's seems sturdy. I remembered it being a bit larger though my memory may be faulty. I wish it had a pocket to keep the bags in so they don't get separated from the game.

This item was delivered in very good time and in very good condition and is such good fun and everyone can play. We got it for my daughter because I had one as a child and my family and I really had good fun together with this.
