ZeroChroma iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus VarioProtect Stand Case - Pink

This is a wonderful case. Love the way it feels and the stand function is awesome. The only down side is that the stand can tend to decrease in function or not work over time. There is a but here though because Zerochroma does have good support for their products and will stand behind their warranty! I would highly recommend! I have many cases and this is truly my favorite because of the stand and the feel of the case. I also have a lanyard on mine - not provided but they do provide the place to put one right under the stand so it is not in your way. Great extra protection.

Great stand that turns 360 degrees. Drawback is that its a bit slippery. So if you want something with some grip to prevent it from slipping out of your hands, you'll have to get some tacky material to help with that. After a years use, the metal clip that inserts into the plastic 360 degree piece has come undone and doesn't allow for the stand piece to close flush with the back without having to do some manipulation. I don't know how well the plastic would protect my phone if I dropped it from a high distance. It seems a bit cheap and may only be protecting the phone from scratches and not from a drop 4+ feet, but has protected it from some drops from getting out of the car.

This phone case is definitely a keeper. The case has a pebbly texture, so you will be able to get a good grip on your phone and not have it slip. It is made of a plastic material that is not too rigid and not too flexible. The sides of the case feel like it is thick enough to absorb shock if you drop your phone, without make it feel bulky. It is easy to get the phone case on and off the phone. I like that the lip of the case that goes over the front of the phone is raised, so when the phone is set down the screen is not as close to things as some other cases - this making it easier to not get it scratched up. The stand is great for when you want to watch videos or talk on the phone while you are doing something else. I have used other phone cases with stands that did not hold up very well and my phone would fall over. This stand does not do that. Also you can put the phone at whatever angle you like as the stand rotates. It's nice to have these extra features, but the main thing is to protect an investment and I feel this case is durable and strong enough to do that.I received this item for free in exchange for trying it and providing my honest, unbiased feedback. $40 is over priced for this case. I didn't expect that sides of the case be easily lift off from the phone and permanently slightly curved and this bothers me so much. The circle kickstand part of the case is Unnecessarily thick and lift up so the case never lay flat. I checked to see if there's any reason behind it, but even when you open and close the stand nothing scratches the phone. I really wish they fix this gap so the phone can still be thin. The material of the case is nice and provides grip. It's not as bulky as most of other cases.

It's a cool case and the stand is great, but there seems to be a manufacturing defect. After 3 months the stand broke. It shouldn't do this with normal usage. The stand pivots on a pin that runs the length of it. I noticed a crack, then within a few days it snapped off completely. Now I just have a case with a bulge where the stand used to be. I heard from someone else that had the same problem.

Had this on my iPhone 6 Plus for over 3 years (and had previous model on iPhone 4 and 5 for 4 years). This is by far the sturdiest, best functioning cell phone case I've used. For how it works as a stand to position your phone upright in either portrait or landscape, and to use the kickstand as a grip assist when handheld, there is nothing else that comes close. The ratcheting action of the kickstand feels VERY solid, even after I wore out/broke one of the small clips in the back. Protected my phone from drops very well. I've had many people (including those at AT&T and Apple stores) comment on what a cool/useful case it is.It can (and should) be disassembled for cleaning occasionally. If you're worried about dust entering from the stand area (which does expose the back of the phone when the stand is open), you may want to add other protection there.The camera openings on the back don't align between iPhone 6+ vs. 7/8+. The price is very reasonable considering many major manufacturers now sell cases for $50-90 that are just a shell. ZeroChroma, please make a new model for iPhone 7-8 Plus! I'm about to get creative with a Dremel to modify my case to work for iPhone 8 Plus...

After using this case for a couple days the metal wire hinge system got so loose that it wouldn't stand at all in any position. An easy fix for this is to take out the wire by pinching it together then taking out the metal wire then put a very light coating of super glue with a piece of paper and put the wire back. If it's too difficult cut a little piece of sand paper and sand it. Problem fixed.

I believe in their product since I purchase their iPad Air 2 case and been working great so I did not have any second though in buying this for my iPhone 6s Plus. Product came in on time with great packaging. The reason for 4.5 stars is due to the screen protector you buy. I had a tempered glass protector that cover it edge to edge and the case peeled it off. It's not their fault so I just purchase one from OMOTON tempered glass protector and it work great
