Ok, so these will work, but you have to add to the treatment. In no way can you just slap these on and expect your toenails to magically correct themselves. So, my toenails took months to finally grow out as they should, and there is no more discomfort. I used these, along with tea tree oil, tea tree epsom salt foot baths, and used dental floss behind the toenail to keep it away from my skin. I also cut a very small “v” in the top of my toenail and used a bandaid on top of this patch during certain times. I did have some discomfort during the beginning, that I tolerated, but did the daily foot baths and kept that skin and toenail soft. It really did do the trick. I have lived with ingrown toenails for 20 years or more, and constantly cut and relieved them myself, which I just got so sick of. So really, it will work with other additives, but you really have to be patient.

Have been using for about 3 weeks have seen NO change or improvement on toe , only giving 2 stars because of adhesive does stick , didn’t send back BECAUSE of price , very disappointed

Agree with others, the glue is not strong enough to stay attached to curved part of the nail bed - which is the whole purpose of the brace. As a result, lint, fuzz, etc from socks or bed linens get stuck to it and it lifts off. Also, some of the reviews (although verified) seem a little off grammatical and overly enthusiastic, eg. “works great and cute.” Really?? Anyway, if your nails are polished be sure to remove or buff surface on problem nail for better adhesion. I may try a dot of superglue on the curved edge to keep it secured. That’s no different than a more expensive kit which offers about 10 braces.

This is a great idea but it doesn't work. If you don't have wide toenails, the instructions tell you to trim the sides so that the patch fits. When you do that, you trim off the tiny edge of adhesive that holds the brace to the nail. This makes the brace useless. If you made the product with multiple sizes (like Band-aids) then a proper fit could be found without sacrificing the adhesive and the brace could work. Unless you have really wide toenails, I do not believe these will work for you. They did not work for me.

I don’t have a doubt that this product will work but it needs some improvement . The adhesive is not strong enough it came off as some as put it on . I’ll continue using it by adding a bandaid to hold it in place .

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT IF YOUR NAILS ARE ALREADY INGROWN OR HAVE THICKEN, THE GLUE IS WEAK AND WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOUR NAILS. LOOK FOR THE STEEL WIRE COILS THEY DO WORK.

I think these may be somewhat helpful if you catch the curving of the nail early on. Also, it needs to be a narrow nail, so a big toe it’s too short and won’t reach both sides of the nail.

I was hoping that this would save me a trip to the podiatrist. I think in theory the sides of these adhesive strips are supposed to stick the the edge of the nail thereby pulling it up to flatten the nail and relief the ingrown nail. The problem is that the wings on the side of the adhesive strips do not stay attached to the nail and are therefore useless. I even tried to force it to stay on the edges to get relief. Still they did not stay. That having been said they are not hugely expensive and it was worth a try. I would not recommend purchasing this item
