Heavy Duty Spring
Our property management business is in coastal NC and the regular porch door springs rust away in less than a year. We tried some of these a few years ago and they still look brand new - in fact, when the doors need replacing, we are re-using these springs. Super heavy duty 316 stainless steel, with hooks, are what works here.

Not the cheapest, but maybe the best
If you live near the ocean, or if you just have had your old springs and hardware rust, like me, then I would say spend more to get these stainless steal springs and hooks. Well worth the extra money to me. Very quick and easy installation.

The Best You Can Buy.
This is a heavy-duty stainless steel door spring, perfect for coastal and humid environments. It arrived in excellent condition with two eye-hooks. As with any project, you do need to take care when measuring and marking for the installation. This photo shows my spring after two months, several storms, and abuse from two dogs.

Good quality
I know I could have gotten less expensive screen door springs, but decided on stainless steel so hopefully it won’t rust and will last forever!
