Honestly, I am still trying to work out the plot. Something about an energy vortex, then an evil woman, then a dead woman, and a husband finding her, then an evil woman, a little girl, and then an "I see dead people" moment where I think everything is supposed to come together and it doesn't. Yeah, it was pretty confusing.

Low budget but imaginatively done. Uploading people's brains into a virtual reality computer world called "The Matrix". But wait! This movie was made in 1997 and "The Matrix" starring Keanu was made in 1999...hmmmmm...

I liked this film. If you liked Matrix, this is a film for you.The characters were developed very well and the story was well writen.I am a big Julie Benz fan.

dumb movie. Waste of 2 hrs of your time. Spend your money on a Mcdonalds. You will enjoy that better.

The storyline was confusing and hard to follow. How did his wife get into the Matrix? The characters were mostly two-dimensional and devoid of any feeling (or acting ability?). Tilda was the most three dimensional character and actually had a personality! Some of the special effects were interesting though.

This flick is like Three films strung together to make one. It starts with a sort of Andromeda Strain plot, where a small town is engulfed with some electrical type storm that appears from nowhere, snatches up a little girl then fades, leaving everyone dead except one survivor. Then it turns into a futuristic prison movie where sentenced prisoners have their consciousness downloaded into a sort of computer mainframe Matrix. WHICH! brings me nicely onto the third part which plays out like a cut price Matrix(mind you Matrix Two and Three played like a cut price Matrix as well).Overall though this is very entertaining given its miniscule budget sadly it's also muddled as Hell, You could watch it ten times and still be none the wiser plot wise. The 3 stars I have given it are because Director Phillip J. Roth always goes that extra mile with his little films and tries to give us something original. He did this more successfully with the far superior Terminal Velocity and APEX movies. This is fun though and way better than some of the 100 Million Dollar mince that's churned out.
