Better than expected, very useful, should have ordered sooner.
Ordered 2 units. These are way better than I expected, and extremely bright in the distance settings. Lights have a high/‘low’ setting and a combination setting. The high setting is more (trust me on this) than you’ll ever need, and the distance is easily 100 feet at night. Plus there is a strobe setting. The ‘wide’ lights (a separate group) are for walking and seeing your surrounding area clearly as opposed to the distance lights. They, too, are quite bright enough. Additionally, there are red lights for night reading and, if you use a telescope as I do, for night vision without ruining your ability to see faint objects (red doesn’t hurt your night vision). It also flashes red if you need a warning light. Behind your head is also a red warning light for biking, etc. Straps are adjustable, and while you’ll know you’re wearing it, it is not heavy. Oh, almost forgot...the lamp has a tilt adjustment. Each unit comes with 2 rechargeable batteries (which arrived shrink wrapped and fully charged) plus a USB charging cable. They can be ordered with a case which we did. It is a nice semi-hard case which can see many other uses. They were worth the few extra dollars. In the first 24 hours of owning these lights, I’ve used them for working under the truck hood, while grilling in the dark, and as a night vision light while using the telescope. Couldn’t be more pleased. Should have ordered these 5 years ago! And, thanks to the seller for an accurately described and quality product..

Fantastic Headlamp, USPS CCA-recommended!,
This is a fantastic, powerful headlamp. I work as a City Carrier Assistant (CCA) for the United States Post Office and this headlamp makes life so much easier for me when delivering at night or the early morning hours. I have been working 50+ (and up to 70+) hours a week for quite some time now as Covid-19 has actually increased our package volume. As such, we often make early morning parcel runs, heading out before the sun is fully up, or working into the late evening hours. This headlamp is bright and helps me to see the address labels clearly. In addition, as many people do not leave lights on, making it VERY difficult to tell what the residence address is, I can use this, seated in my vehicle, as almost a spotlight, to look for the house number and not have to get out and walk up and down the block searching for the correct address. What I probably love most about it, however, is that I can charge it from a cigarette lighter, meaning I can charge it in my LLV if need-be. My previous (USPS-issued) headlamp used disposable batteries, was nowhere near as bright as this, and was always dying on me and, of course, I rarely had any spare batteries. I give this wonderful headlamp 5-stars and highly recommend it to anyone. If you do get it, get the version that comes with the case. It keeps everything together so that you don’t lose the charging cord and makes it easy to find your lamp when needed, especially if it has settled to the bottom of your backpack.

Straps are too small
Right out of the box the straps were extended as far out as they could be. I attempted to try it on, but it was impossible to keep on my head. I had my 13 year old daughter try it on and it wouldn't fit her either. The circumference of the strap fully extended is approximately 19" unstretched. The average male head is 22-24". Mine is about 23-1/2". Every inch of "stretch" that has to happen also increases the tightness on your head. It would have been uncomfortable had I been able to try it on, but the circumference isn't as big of a problem as the strap going over the top of the head is. The strap measures 7.5". I needed it to be at least 12-13".I tested the lights in an almost dark room. They're brighter than my current light, but not nearly as bright as I thought they'd be. Having so many lighting options seems pointless. They're all just variations of brightness.I failed to find this in the description, so I'll mention it here...The light will rotate downward 90º. That's fine, but they never say in what increments. It will "click" down 4 times which means each "click" is 22.5º.If they had just added a nickel's worth of strap to this thing, everything would've probably been fine. But I had to return it for being useless.

Surprisingly well done
i have several head lamps that i have received through subscription boxes. all of them require batteries but are not rechargeable and when i need it is when it seems the batteries are dead. so i decided to just by myself a pair that was rechargeable. the device comes with a carrying case which is a plus considering the item itself is pretty bulky. the light is on the front and the batteries are mounted on the back on a three strap setup. the lighting one it is pretty bright when you have all lights on. you have two options on six light sources (two of the light sources are red)device is bright enough to take out at night and have visibility. not "a bajillion lumens!!" bright, but enough to light your way clearly IMHO.after i opened the box i turned on all lights and left it sitting. i wanted to see with no full charge how it handled. three hours later i came back and the light was still on. it wasn't as bright but still bright enough to do stuff. the back panel with the batteries didn't get hot either.i am very pleased to add this to my everyday carry bag and see myself using it alot when i am out night hiking and doing other totally not suspicious activities in the middle of the night.
