Fiesta Tapered Mug, 15 oz, Poppy

I searched /ordered 15 oz mugs. These barely hold 12 oz to the brim. Disappointed and false advertising. They arrived in time for an event I was having, so not having anything else I had to use them. If Fiesta doesn't make 15 oz you shouldn't pretend.

This is my favorite Fiestaware mug for hot drinks, because of the size and thickness. It keeps the coffee hot and when I reheat coffee in the microwave in this cup, it does not ever burn my lips. I love the Tapered 15 oz mug!!! It is thick enough to keep things hot or cold longer. If you have arthritis you can put your hands around the outside when you have a hot drink for some soothing warmth also.The 18 oz Fiestaware mug is my favorite for soup and ice cream and occasionally hot chocolate.The smaller 12 oz.Fiestaware mug is still great for smaller doses of coffee or tea, etc.I really love Fiestaware, and if you are wondering about color, you cannot go wrong with the great choices. My new favorite color is Poppy,but I have mugs in Scarlet, Marigold, Plum, White, Lemongrass, Turquoise, Salmon, Lapis, Peacock, Tangerine, and Cobalt. I love them all! Great when you have a crowd and need people to remember the color of their mug.

This teacup is kind of heavy and thick. If that’s not a problem then you’ll appreciate the sturdy quality. I think it might be tough for someone with arthritis, carpel tunnel, or sensory issues with their hands. I got these for my husband, who has long fingers, big hands. The lip makes it hard to pour out into another cup if you’re sharing but fine to drink. Weight might be an issue for some people.Pretty and bright green color with a bit of yellow mixed in but not garish. I love their colors; we have lemongrass- and sunflower-colored mugs.

I go out of my way to try to buy products that are made to high quality standards in the USA, Europe, Japan etc and Fiesta stuff is still made in the USA. I'm the kinda guy who usually just likes to have my ONE mug I use for all my hot beverages. This one is pretty darn good. As with all Fiesta stuff it is really overbuilt, super thick and solid. I would tweak a thing or two about the design if I could design my "perfect" cup, but this one is totally usable, far better than others I have owned in terms of quality, and has been my go to mug since I bought it. After having several cheapo mugs made in China where the handles would just randomly snap off for no particular reason, it is nice to have such a solid and well made mug!

It’s so hard to find US made cups! These are very sturdy and big. They are expensive, but worth it.

Cheery Lemongrass color greets me in the morning. Nice handle. Like the simple design with flared side. Not too big.

We just bought 4 of these mugs then came back for 2 more the size and shape are great. They are heavy and keep the hot in the cup for a longer period of time then most cups. They are easy to hold and they are not only functional they are nice to look at. When we heat them in the microwave they are not hot to the touch. Another great thing these are made in the USA. hard to find made here any longer. You will not be disappointed if you buy these . The colors are wonderful for a bright and sunny display .

I just received 4 of these in scarlet. They hold 10oz of coffee plus cream. I ordered them specifically to get a larger mug. The rim is thick and there is an original Fiesta Ware label on the bottom. They seem a bit pricey but large mugs are hard to find if your not looking for the cutesy novelty type, sometimes you have to pay more to get what you're looking for. The shape is great, by the way, a nice curve where you can rest your second hand to warm up on cold days.
