Great cord. Shop around.
Have replaced the pull cord on Honda EU2000 twice now. This time I bought the Cobra cord. Works great and should last forever. One word of caution on the installation. The outer sheath of the cord is not attached to the inner strands. If you are not careful pushing the cord through the holes in the handle and pull cord housing the sheath will buch up. It's a bit of a pain to pull the outer sheath back into place when it does this. Other than that -no issues. Also - Google this cord. You'll find it cheaper from Cobra than on Amazon unless another seller lists it for less than the $50+ it is listed for now.

So far so good
I used this cord to replace a broken pull cord on a generac generator. I have only used it a couple times since replacing it, but it pulls really smooth and shows no signs of fraying.

4 years later..
...still great! Purchased 2/2017 installed on 4000w Predator generator that gets a lot of use & endures subzero winters. Now 2/2021 and this item shows no sign of wear. Would buy again & recommend.

Good cord but didn't work well on lawnmower
I liked that it was a strong cord, but it was too stiff for my Honda lawnmower. The rope would not retract fully back into its housing and it wasn't because the rope was too long. Had to replace with regular pull starter cord and retracts fine now.

So Far it’s Adequate, Pain to install.
Overhyped. It may last a lifetime but was a pain to install. The cord is made of two separate layers, an outer sheath and inner cording. They don’t always travel together and if you get them moving separately it’s a pain. They don’t burn really at all so fusing them together with a lighter first was out. The cord is kind of “slick” meaning my first knot pulled itself out on the third pull of the generator and I was back to square one. I hope it holds up in a winter blizzard when I have no power or patience to have to fix it in the cold dark garage.

Talk about tough stuff
Talk about tough, this is the troughest starter cord I have ever used. You cannot cut this stuff except with a razor blade. It is easy to work with except that the ends fray and make it tough to thread through a hole. Use some glue to make a tight tip and it is much easier. I would buy this again and I highly recommend it for durability.

Great Rope
High quality rope. It does look like it could last forever. Only time will tell. I do wish is was a foot longer. The cord does seem to have a waxy type coating so a simple overhand knot won't work. Tie a more secure knot like a figure eight.
