TOEFL iBT: with 8 Online Practice Tests (Barron's Test Prep)

It came with a lessons, you can find them in the web site. Also, so many exercises to complement learning with audios.

English teacher here.I used to recommend all of my students to get this book, but because of the inaccessibility of the online listening content, the best I can give it is 2 stars.I really want to love this book. Usually Barron's TOEFL books are better than the official ETS stuff, which pulls punches, but the fact that Kaplan is gatekeeping their material means you CAN NOT depend on this book to function for your class. Sometimes the listenings are available, but most often than not, the site is not functioning. Worse, I've contacted customer support, and they take weeks to respond. I'm sorry, Barron's, never again.Some positives: the book has a LOT of very useful tips on how to navigate through the reading portion, as well as 8 complete practice tests. But because the listenings are unavailable, the speaking, listening, and writing portions are essentially useless. Worse, many of the transcripts are missing, so you wouldn't even be able to dictate to your class in case of an emergency.

I disliked it.

I purchased this book for my exam prep. The book is helpful, but the website is old and not easy to use. It would be better if the book had all the scripts and sample answers. Sometimes, it's hard to find example answers on the website.

I`ve been trying to access the online page to do the practice and listen to the audio files, but it is not possible. Without the audio the book is useless.

What I like about this book is that it actually gets updated year after year. Of course there is recycling of content, but each year some of the questions are replaced and improved. That's pretty rare when it comes to TOEFL books. The accuracy of the 17th edition isn't perfect, but I think it is better than what you'll find in both the Kaplan and Princeton Review TOEFL books.

This is an ok book if you haven't bought/worked with any of the previous editions. If you have, you'll find a lot of recycled material, which is disappointing.New material and supplements (for instance, ppt files) also have issues: questions on tape do not match the same questions in print, and speaking sections for 1 hour tests miss significant parts, like conversations that are supposed to follow reading prompts. Also, while the materials in the book have been reworked to reflect the new test structure, the supplements (ppt files with explanations and model answers) haven't, and thus still refer to previous editions of the same book.If you're a teacher and need those supplements - go for a previous edition. If you're a student who needs to study for the new version of the test: also go for one of the previous editions. They are way more consistent than this one.

Para impartir clases.

Esse livro diz na capa que os áudios podem seu baixados, mas não podem. Só dá para trabalhar com ele online. Fiquei muito decepcionada porque comprei o livro para poder estudar offline e não dá. O sistema de acesso online também não é dos melhores, os áudios dão pau e nos exercícios de 1 hora não tem as perguntas disponíveis. Entrei em contato com o suporte da Barron's e apesar de imprimirem na capa essa funcionalidade do produto, me informaram que ela não existe.
