great lock, might want to buy your own screws if in USA
If in the USA you may want to buy your own 1/4" (x 3" - 3.5") concrete screws and a 1/4" drill bit to install.I wish I had thought of that before I had drilled four 7/32" holes into the ground. I figured that was the closest to the 6mm bolts provided, but I struggled to screw them in to 7/32" holes. I ended up finding a 15/64" bit here on amazon that I could use to widen the holes slightly, after which I could get the bolts in.Otherwise I love this lock, it's small and sleek and secure. After searching for bike lock options for inside my home garage I settled on the ANKR and I'm very happy I did.One detail I couldn't find online ahead of purchase was the size of the opening, so here are some photos. It's about 1 3/4" high and slightly more than 2 3/4" wide. Also makes sure your bits are long enough. I initially bought a T30 driver bit that was too short - it needs to be able to reach down inside the casing. So to summarize:- A 6mm masonry drill bit able to drill at least 90 mm deep; or 15/64" bit able to drill 3.5" deep- A T30 driver bit at least 7.5cm or 3" long- A 10 mm or 3/8" hex Allen wrench

Heavy duty, easy install, gorgeous functional design.
Really smart design. that is functional, probably impossible to cut through and fits probably any chain for anything you want to lock down. They Kyptonite chain in the photos is a 14 MM chain - very heavy duty and there is clearly room for a second thinner one.I highly recommend this if you're looking to lock down a motorcycle, generator, ATV or something else. Anything really.

Heavy duty
I attached this to a frame wall in my shed with carriage bolts that go through the stud and terminate on the outside wall. The bolt is smooth on the outside so there's no way to remove it from that area. Inside, it's also very difficult to remove or break as it's very well-made and heavy duty. In order to access the head of the bolts to undo, the chain would have to be removed in order to unscrew the inner keeper.I used a hardened steel chain that easily loops through the opening. All in all, this suited my needs for bike security very well especially in a town where bike theft is rampant even in locked sheds and garages.

Correct installation requires work, but it is a good anchor!
Correct installation (with 4 screws) on a studs/drywall wall requires that one opens the drywall, installs a blocking, and then go through the whole process of taping, spraying texture, and painting. It is possible to install it with two screws on a stud, albeit with a lower level of security. Enclosed four screws works both, with wood and with concrete/bricks walls. For concrete walls, one would need a 6 mm masonry bit with working length of at least 90 mm, such bits are quite easy to find on Amazon (I saw SDS plus, much longer than 90 mm). You will also need a 10 mm hex Allen wrench (which you probably have in your cycling tool set) to finish installation, and a T30 driver bit. ANKR is a good way to anchor any type of bile lock that you might have to the wall. I used one of these in my garage to secure two bikes which hang vertically next to each other. I installed two AIRLOK hangers and one ANKR as one installation, it took me five days to get this job done (counting all that drying time between layers of drywall compound, dry time of sprayed textures, and two layers of paint), but this effort was worth it as it indeed secured our bikes from the risk that a passerby could grab a bike and run while garage is open and noone is inside.

Better safe than sorry, even at home
I have a nice electric bike, and an electric trike for my wife. Electric bikes are a big target for thieves, even with bikes at home in the garage or wherever we store them, so we need some good protection even at home. I often see reports of people who have lost their nice bikes when someone stole them right out of their home or garage. I have this anchor in the concrete floor in our garage, and a chain threads through it with the U lock on my bike, and another U lock at the other end on my wife’s trike. When we go somewhere on them, we just bring the chain and locks with us, so we still have a secure protection when we’re out and about. Better safe than sorry!

Great non-permanent option
I have avoided most other home locks because they expose the screw heads so they end up being a one time use product by hammering in a ball bearing into the screw. This one is great because the screws are protected by the case and can't be opened when there is a lock through it. I love the design I bought a few of them.

NICE
Would take a guy with a grinder several mounts to cut thru drawing attention to themselves. They look good , are versatile and tough. I'll buy more if I need something similar. I'm happy with them.

Very good quality
Be sure you have the proper masonry bits and impact drill for the job. Otherwise, it have be hell installing. Consider shorter screws.
