My buddy who used to work in HVAC mentioned how simple and great these connectors were
My buddy came over and had this hooked up in just 15 minutes. It was a very simple replacement of our old Honeywell EMM2 that was fried after 11 years of usage.I am surprised at the complaints about the terminal connectors. My buddy who used to work in HVAC mentioned how simple and great these connectors were. Just press the top with a small, flat screwdriver, insert wire into the hole, and let go. Easy peasy!

A really good performer
Does the job perfectly.I needed a new zone controller for a two level home. This one was easy to install, and performs well. The lower zone gets little use, and the controller only changes the valves when called for, minimizing wear and tear on the valves. I like that feature.

I was able to set it up myself and works perfectly.

Almost a drop-in replacement for my California Economizer
This item was a replacement for my old California Economizer DigitTract 4. The only two things I had to change were the discharge airflow temperature sensor (DATS), and one wire connection. My DigiTract board had an "R" and a "C" connection whereas this unit only has an Rc (jumped to Rh). After talking to an HVAC pro, all I had to do was cap off the existing "C" wire since it's not used for this board. DO NOT CONNECT IT TO THE Rc terminal. This caused a fuse to blow on the equipment board. Since then, it's been working diligently.
