Well crafted witty brew!
I loved this audio book. The story is great, just exactly what you would expect to come from Kelsey Grammer. But what puts it over the top is Grammer's excellent narration. I don't think anyone can do a better narration than that of the author, and Grammar puts his own charm into each line.Having been a Robert Parker fan for thirty plus years, particularly his Spenser books, I enjoyed the warmth and sense of humor he gave his characters. Grammar brings to mind Parker's characters and clever dialogue. His hero is a down to earth character with regular problems who just happens to start investigating a suspicious suicide. The story is a witty, amusing, and mysterious blend that keeps you guessing. And the ending makes you yearn for Grammer's next book. I can't wait!

Its OK, not great.
No way I could give this 5 stars, it comes across as an ego stroker for the Author. A decent story, not bad and worthy of 4 stars.

Started out well enough
I was intrigued because it was written and narrated by Kelsey Grammer. It started out well enough but then it deteriorated into the male version of a bodice ripper.

Love the plot and the narration
I used to listen to music during my morning walk and have switched to audiobooks. I was thrilled to come across this one and Kelsey's narration is absolutely perfect. I only have 40 minutes left so the equivalent of one more walk and I don't want it to end. I'm crossing my fingers that he writes another one!
