Decent budget exercise machine
Pretty much what I expected, with none of the problems I feared. It went together fairly easily, but I did have someone help hold bits and hand me parts. Because I have a bad back, I did have to do about 3/4 of it and finish it later (getting up and down from the floor is hard for me, as is any twisting or bending). Back when I was well, I estimate it would have taken me between a half hour and forty-five minutes. I also have hand and wrist problems, so I went back and retightened all the bolts at the end of the assembly. The main reason I chose this machine is that it can be used both as a stationary bike and as an elliptical machine. Since I have back issues, I thought it would be good to be able to change positions if the one I was in began to aggravate my back. It turned out to be a wise idea. I can move from the bike to the elliptical and back to the bike with barely a pause. Each position bothers me in a different way, but because I can switch back and forth, I can actually get some use out of the machine before having to quit. If I'd gotten either a stationary bike or an elliptical machine, I probably would have never used it because I'd only be able to use it a few minutes at a time, which would be frustrating. One thing I don't like about the machine is that the seat can only be adjusted up and down, not forward and back. I'm quite short, and so when seated, I have to lean forward significantly to reach the arm poles. This position is a no-go for me, particularly with the slight twisting that accompanies the arm movement, so when I use it as a bike, I don't use the poles. They are fine for me when using it as an elliptical, though. It's a nice feature that they can be fixed in a stationary position, too.The tension knob doesn't seem to do much to actually change the resistance, but it's the kind of trade off you make when getting one of the less expensive machines.I found all the parts to be pretty heavy-duty, and they went together fairly easily, with the exception of the pedals. I found it fiddly to get the bolts in at just the right angle, but once they were, they screwed in securely. Be sure to remember that the left pedal bolt will screw in like it would on a bicycle -- tighten turning to the LEFT, or counterclockwise, the opposite from most everything else. The instructions, particularly for the second step, weren't the best written, but they were adequate once I'd puzzled over them and looked at all the parts. The little computer that reports your time, speed, etc., is extremely flimsy. The mount for it on the front of the machine is slightly too bulky for the slot on the back of the plastic unit, as if the slot were designed to fit over the mounting bracket before the machine was painted. As a result, the unit never feels securely mounted. Because it's also very lightweight and feels like very thin plastic, I am concerned that pressing the button will at some point cause the unit to fall off the machine and break. The machine is fairly quiet, seems sturdy overall, and provides a basic workout at a basic price. No buyer's remorse yet!

It was very easy to put together
I bought this because it was so inexpensive compared to other ellipticals that I looked at. It was very easy to put together. As soon as I jumped on it, though, I knew I wouldn't be getting much use out of it. It was very wobbly, despite trying it on several different surfaces. I also didn't like that the screen was so low if you planned on using it as the elliptical. It would shift every few seconds between distance, time, calories, etc. which was pretty annoying and made the screen almost unusable for me. It started making popping noises which couldn't be a good sign because I'm sure it would have only become louder from there. I'm sure it would be great for some, but I just knew it would sit in the basement collecting dust so I returned it. They took it back no problem since it was within the 30 day window. I think if I were to buy another I would definitely invest in a more expensive machine. I could see it being good for some, though. It wasn't terrible.

Great elliptical
Fairly easy to assemble. Easy to tilt and move to other locations. When tilted one side has wheels making moving it a cinch. Sturdy solid. Has adjustable tension to increase resistance. Seat and arms can adjust to height. Directions were not the easiest to follow but if i was able to put together alone then anyone can. Just need patience. I went with an elliptical that was light weight because i had to carry it up my stairs myself. Id say that was the hardest part but i was able to pull the box up my flight of stairs. However i recommend getting someone to help you because i did end up pulling a back muscle doing this. Which in no way is a reflection on this product. Its not like i was using proper body mechanics. My point is that i alone was able to move box into my home myself. Overall its a great elliptical and id give it 5 stars except the directions for assembly could have been made easier.

Cheap, terrible, frustrating, don't buy!
Easy to put together, cheap pieces/constantly stripping and falling back off, very loud and gets worse the more you use. Went to Home Depot twice to replace stripped bolt and they referred me to a screw warehouse where they told me I would have to order it. And then the chain fell off and I am unable to remove all the pieces I need to in order to get inside and actually fix it. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because I really liked this bike (those times I actually got to ride it) but after having it for less than 2 months and so many things going wrong, I am beyond frustrated, would return if I could. If you are serious about working out, BUY SOMETHING ELSE! Not worth all the extra time you have to spend getting new pieces, attempting to fix and put back together.

Awesome machine!
Overall I love this elliptical. It's inexpensive and I feel I got a bargain. I can easily scoot it around the house and it's super easy for a beginner to pick up. It gives me a great workout and my legs and arms are the good sore the next day. I would highly recommend this for someone who wants a workout without leaving their home.

See Updated review: Excellent product for the price you pay
Updated: 12/10/2019Now that I had it for almost 2 years, this equipment is not worth your money even it isn't expensive. The noise that it makes give you a headache that will make you hate working out. While it is sturdy and still work, it is way too noisy!Excellent product for the price you pay. It is a little louder than others but again the price beat any other product out there. Easy to install and not too heavy

Pleasantly surprised
All that I wanted!! Small, does not take up much room, works well. Directions to put together missed an important part, but was able to back tract. All parts were in the package. Great deal.
