B&P Lamp® Porcelain Bi-Pin halogen socket fits G4, G5.3, GX5.3, and G6.35

We have three reasonably expensive pendant lights between our kitchen and dining room. Replacements cost approximately $300 each, so when the original G4 bulbs in two lights failed AND the sockets the bulbs fit in would not hold a new bulb, I looked for a way to repair the lights. It was not easy to find these sockets, but they did the trick! The lights are 12 volt with the ground woven around a single insulated conductor, both inside a clear outer casing. To use these B&P Porcelain Bi-Pin connectors simply required splicing the conductor and ground, BUT it had to be done so the two splices fit inside a decorative cover. When the two splices were completed and properly insulated, new LED bulbs were installed and the lights reassembled. Success!
