Installation may (will) take significantly longer than five minutes due to the leftover adhesive from your old ear pads scrim (cloth covering the speakers), but that is not caused by this product – no points deducted. Feels great, would recommend.# Installation Tips### Pad RemovalRemove the hard plastic ring along with the pads – they are attached and it will be much easier.### Removing Scrim AdhesivePeel what you can off first and then goo gone or high proof alcohol will help clean off old adhesive — 70% Isopropyl worked okay, 99.9% worked great.### Installing New PadsYou press down on the plastic ring that the pads are attached to so that the plastic ring goes underneath 10 teeth per earphone. Press next to teeth (NOT the on teeth).

This is the 2nd time I’ve purchase and installed this kit on my Bose QC35 II headphones. I use them heavily and the 1st replacement kit lasted 3 years before I had to replace them. They are easy to install once you remove the told set and use an isopropyl alcohol pad to remove the old adhesive. I like that they include the plastic tool to snap the cushions in place now. They’re comfortable and durable.

I have had the Bose QC35 headphones for several years. I use them when traveling due to their excellent noise cancelling properties that practically eliminate airlplane engine noise. After several years of use, the foam pads started to deteriorate. I ordered the SoloWIT replacements from Amazon. They arrived with instructions and a plastic tool to assist with the replacement. Replacing the pads was very fast and simple. The tool helps click the pads in place once they are place in the proper location. Fantastic product!

These are well designed, well made, comfortable to wear and the installation was easy ... the quality is equal to the original Bose. I ordered 2 pair, black and burgundy, for our QC35 IIs. The burgundy ones were returned because the color was much more a brown than burgundy. But the return was nothing due to quality and I have no hesitation in recommending SoloWit.

They worked great, fit wonderfully and look like the originals. Not much for instructions, but mostly self explanatory once you get started with the replacement.

I didn’t realise I could so easily replace the headphone pads with these. So easy and cheaper than investing in new headphones.
