I don’t even know where to start with this review…I just finished this book and it feels like it’s ruined my life – it was just that amazingly good! There are no heroes in this story – no good guys versus bad. Instead what we have are four very broken men who happen to be the kings of the criminal world in their city. There’s Ryder, the control freak whose biggest fear is turning into his father and losing control; Kenzo, Ryder’s baby brother who hides his darkness beneath smiles and charm; Garrett who is so broken inside over his past trauma he can’t see past anything else; Diesel who is so far gone there’s no saving the psychopath. These are the four Vipers who run the city through gambling, murder, torture and legal businesses. Then there’s Roxy, our FMC, also living with the nightmares of her past and barely coping. She’s fierce and sassy, independent and can hold her own with the best of them. There’s no light and sweetness with her but a woman who embraces her darkness, accepts who she is and decides she’d rather live than die. When Roxy is sold by her father to pay his debts and the Vipers come to collect – let’s just say they get the surprise of lifetime and their fun and dark adventures begin. This story is dark – there’s violence and blood. This is not a story about a woman redeeming 4 broken men – it’s a story of 5 dark people finding each other and learning to live for each other. If this isn’t for you then please don’t bother picking this up. But if you’re like me and like your dark stories with a little realism as in the antiheroes don’t suddenly turn a new leaf after finding their love and becoming heroes then this book is for you. It’s dark and gritty, full of steam (so much!) and full of possessive men who don’t allow anyone to touch what’s theirs and consider it a romantic gesture to kill someone who has. It’s about finding your perfect other half in the dark and never letting them go and learning that underneath the monster there is  a heart that can beat for someone. This story showed a woman who understood these four other souls and their pain because they mirrored hers and she brings them back from the brink of becoming entirely lost because she sees them. And in turn they see her and allow to her grow and become the person she could’ve been all along. It’s a love story about embracing who you are and finding the person who will love and accept you, crazy and all. And there’s a lot of crazy to be had in this book. I mean Diesel is definitely certifiable and the rest aren’t as far behind but Roxy meets their crazy head on and welcomes it. There are a lot of heart stopping moments in this book as well as funny moments, action packed moments and scenes that will make you tear up. The emotional roller coaster you will go on will leave you shredded but the author puts you back together piece by piece until finally you are joining in the crazy and smiling like a loon at the end. In the end this book was worth every second and every page completely enthralled me. From page 1 I was sucked into this story and putting it down was not an option. I had to know what was going to happen, how this story was going to develop and if the vipers were going to kill Roxy or not because I just had to know! As usual it was very well written and I highly recommend this read.

Wow. This is an exact example of why its GREAT to try NEW authors and not just stick to what you know. I had never tried this author before and I just went with it. And I am so glad I did. This book BLEW ME AWAY. I smiled, laughed, swooned, and squirmed during the entire thing.Diesel, Kenzo, Ryder and Garrett were EVERYTHING. MOUTHWATERING. DARK. BROODING. BAD. POSSESSIVE. ALPHA!!! EVEN SWEET (SOMETIMES) GODDDD. And I LOVED Roxy!!! She had fire & sass! The chemistry was hotttt right from the start. I knew from the first page I was a goner. I was addicted from the get go and I love how long this book was.The instant attraction, jealousy and the guys calling her "ours" had me giggling like a school girl. OH MY HEART. HASHTAG FAVORITE REVERSE HAREM I HAVE EVER READ.The sex:When Kenzo had his turn first I lost it. It was the hottest, most wildest thing. And then with Diesel watching... SHEWWWWW. Thats when I knew for sure he was cuckoo.That first sex scene with Diesel. Holy crap. I will never forget that. It had me squirming and saying OUCHIE. But it was also soo hot. I couldnt wait for her to get to the den with him again!!! He is just so loveable for an assassin!When she finally had sex with Ryder. Wow. It was like stars bursting out of the sky. Love at first site for me. He seemed to be the most broodiest of them all so when they finally had came together it was such a relief!And Garrett finally. FINALLY. GRANDE FINALE. FIREWORKS. My heart was just beating out of my chest! I have never seen a better reverse harem play out.This book had the BEST sex.This book had the BEST romance.This book had the BEST dramatics.This book gave me the BEST laughter.This book gave me the BEST swoons.This book gave me the BEST thrills.The ending was simply perfection!!!This book right here is exactly why I love romance. This is why I love this community. This is why I am so head over heels in love with fiction. I am now a super fan of this author and will automatically one click everything. 5 stars seems so minimal but its all I have to work with!Best RH of 2020.NO. Best RH ever written.

One of the best books I’ve read, so far, by KA Knight! It was a great dark mafia reverse harem read that is a standalone, which is great because the book length was long and there was no cliffhanger!The characters are dark and complex with deeply messed up issues. Yet, somehow they all work together well, building a suspenseful plot with tons of steamy scenes! If you’ve never read a Knight novel before, I highly recommend this one! The MFC is a complete badass without her being over the top or annoying and the guys! Oh my! I loved them all! But my fav would have to be Psycho Diesel! The great thing is, this is a why choose romance so there is no need to pick a fav!Please take a change on this book, it’s definitely one of my favorites/top picks of 2020!*received an ARC for an honest review*~Alex

This book was recommended by a Facebook group, and I am so pleased I read it. It is RH, and you can see the different relationships which Roxy has with each of the Vipers individually, and how she strengthens the relationships between them.It was great to have such a strong female main character; it is clear from the start that she is is totally on their wavelength, and it was inspiring to see how she knew herself and recognised what she wanted without chapters of flip-flopping.Dark, and awesome! Totally recommend.

I fell in love with these deeply scarred, troubled, dark and dangerous men as they took the beautiful, brave, pissed-off Roxy and painted their city red! This is NOT a book to be read lightly, it is a very dark, violent and twisted love story. Highly highly recommended - I bloody loved it!

This book has become my favourite book of all time!!Super dark, gritty, violent, witty and so smoking hot.Ryder, Kenzo, Garrett and Diesel will slither their way into your heart and sink their fangs in and not let go until you are theirs and I am 100% fine with that. I fall down on my knees and worship at your feet Katie.You have truly outdone yourself with this one!

Absolutely amazing!This is dark, gritty, violent and damm hot, these men will have you on your knees and most definitely get into your heart. Once again Katie Knight has smashed it out of the park with this. We all need vipers in our lives

Ohhhh my, I really needed this book! Came thoroughly recommended on a few of the reading groups I follow and boy, it did not disappoint. Couldn’t put this down from start to finish and my oh my those boys are delicious. Fantastic writing, didn’t get boring or confusing like you sometimes find with some RH books (maybe that’s just me?). The main female is quite possibly my favourite... everrrr. Must read of 2020
